I have 46 in sanyo I purchased from walmart in late 2007. The tv will come on for just a second and then cuts off again. I don't know what to do I can't get it to come on

Spoke to a friend, he said he holds opposite corners of the TV top and bottom, and gives a little twist. clears up the screen, with exception of the 4 thin lines that run horizontal roughly 4" from the top of the screen. Each time he turns off the TV at night, he has to do the same the next day. Been doing that for about 6 months.

Try unplug,replug tv an hour later.Tv should reset it self back to factory setting.Should work now.Not,than the power supply board is dead.That the board,where the power a/c cord plug into it.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish power supply board for the replacement.
