My belkin basic router is not working - Belkin (F5D5231-4) Router

Default security code for Belkin router is to leave the password field blank. If this doesn't work, locate the reset button on the back of the router and hold it in for at least 10 seconds. This should restore it to factory defaults.

Hi,

To avoid the pop up Kindly right click on the Belkin router monitor Icon in the system tray & click exit. To avoid it happening all together, Go to control pannel & click on add / remove programs & unistall the router monitor software. The router would still work in the absence of the router monitor software.

Did you set your modem to bridge mode before you connected you belkin router to it?

hi we had the same it is belkins fault i had to buy a wireless router from vigin .i have mine for about 7 months now and had no problems at all hope you get it sorted

Well you can try to contact to belkin tech support and ask for online assitance hope they will fix your problem and you will be good to go.
