I would use what is called a strap wrench it would be best. That way you do not mess up the finish on your faucet or leave marks on it from a pair of channel lock pliers.

Clean the calcium deposits out of the single handle kitchen faucet Moen#7575?

Are you talking about the aerator assembly? You can remove it and let it soak in warm vinegar to dissolve the deposits.

I need to change the 1255 cartridge on a Moen Benton Faucet.

Usually they unscrew. Sometimes if the faucetis in a hardwater zone the mineral deposits build up and make getting the dome off very hard. Use a strap wrench to get a little more grip, this will prevent damage to the finish and allow you to twist harder.

How do you get the spout off?

Information on your faucet can be found here:

http://www.moen.com/chateau/chrome-two-handle-low-arc-kitchen-faucet/_/R-CONSUMER%3A7907

The exploded parts view can be helpful is seeing how your faucet is assembled:

First turn off the hot and cold water supply taps. Then to remove the spout you simply unscrew the spout cap counter-clockwise; you should then be able to lift the spout up and off the supply post.

I have a brand new moen muirfield high arc faucet with low pressure at spout but good pressure at side spray what can i do to get better pressure at spout

clevine336-

The design of a hand sprayer is meant to provide a higher pressure spray (the smaller outlet size means greater velocity in the water coming out of the sprayer head). That said, there could be something constricting the water flow in your faucet. If you unscrew the aerator on the end of the faucet do you get better pressure? Is the screen in the aerator clogged with sediment or mineral deposits? If this is the case you may have water requiring periodic cleaning of the aerator.

Hope this helps.

The spout cover is threaded and unscrews then remove spout and replace the o rings with a Moen o ring kit only use Moen brand or Ace Hardware brand

Water pressure became slow after less than 6 months of a new Moen Kitchen. Faucet some calcium build. Pressure is the same with both hot and cold running. Makes me think it is the faucet.

It is probably a clogged airator. If the faucet is the type where the spout is attatched to a hose there may be a screen where the hose attaches to the spout. with the spout off check the flow through the hose. If the flow at the hose is good then the problem is in the spout. Most of the time it is in the spout. you can replace just the spout if you cannot find a screen or airator to clean.
