HP Laserjet 4m plus and Netgear WGR614 v9 router.
I have a WGR614v9 wireless router. I''m trying to add/connect my old HP Laserjet 4m plus printer to the router. I have directly connected via 10base-t ethernet cable from the printer to the router. I have changed the printer''s IP address to have it similar to the router (192.168.1.x). I have added this to the router via LAN setup with the MAC address. It seems that the router sees the device as I see the router port number 2 turn from orange to green (but then back to orange after the apply process). Please advise on how I can get my printer to work. thanks.
