Somehow two of the extensions when you call to them are do not disturb. Person somehow put them on in their room and can't turn them off. How do you do it?

Your Wake up device is in DND.... it either didn't hang up or it didn't answer. You should contact your vendor to have them check the RAD (Recorded Announcement Device). Unless you know the extension number associated with it (the installers use different numbering from site to site and I couldn't even guess for you), you won't be able to clear the DND. If you do know the ext number... follow these instructions from the attendant console.
To apply Do Not Disturb on an extension: • Press the DO NOT DISTURB function key or dial *85. The LCD shows EXT-NUMBER ?. • Dial the desired extension number. • Press the DND ON softkey. • If desired, press the NEW EXT softkey to apply or remove Do Not Disturb on another extension. • Press the EXIT softkey. To remove Do Not Disturb on an extension: • Press the DO NOT DISTURB function key. The LCD shows EXT-NUMBER ?. • Dial the desired extension number. I think if the fan is having an excessive noise its a hardware problem but it would be better to isolate the issue, try to see in BIOS if you have an option to adjust the fan speed or try to update BIOS to correct the fan controller. If those steps does not work it means its already a hardware problem. Try to call the manufacturer to have it service if its still in warranty.

It's pretty straightforward. You pick a spare button, dial FEAT 00 press the blank button (with a light) and press FEAT 01. There are considerations that I'll reproduce here.

Use this feature to be able to press a programmed button to prevent incoming calls for the
extension from ringing (lights still flash). When Do Not Disturb is on, outside callers hear ringing
while inside callers hear a busy signal. You should use Do Not Disturb only if someone answers
outside calls for your extension when you do not answer them.
Considerations 8
■ Do Not Disturb is available only on system telephones.
■ Do Not Disturb requires a button with lights. When the Do Not Disturb feature is on, the light
is also on, indicating that the telephone will not ring.
■ Use Do Not Disturb when you do not want the auto attendant or the voice messaging system
to transfer calls to you.
■ Use Do Not Disturb if you are assigned to a Hunt Group and you leave your desk, so calls to
the Hunt Group will skip your extension and ring immediately at the next available extension
in the group.
■ To avoid missing calls when Do Not Disturb is not needed, turn it off.
■ If Do Not Disturb is active at a doorphone alert extension, the person at the doorphone hears
signaling, but the alert extension is not signaled.
■ Unanswered calls that are transferred from an extension with Do Not Disturb active ring at
that extension if they transfer return.
■ Extensions with Do Not Disturb activated do not receive Caller ID information, unless the call
is answered.
■ Users with Automatic VMS Cover Assigned or with VMS Cover turned on can activate Do
Not Disturb to Send All Calls immediately to their voice mailbox.
■ Users with Call Coverage turned on can activate Do Not Disturb to Send All Calls
immediately to the covering extension.
■ You cannot use Call Screening (F25) when Do Not Disturb is turned on.
Unfortunately if the receptionist is using priority call (f69) there's not much you can do. Priority call is an administrator programmed function that overrides when your on a call and when the set is in do not disturb. Maybe bribing the receptionist might be in order.
Not sure how you set this feature but here is the solution:
To set DND you would have pressed your feature button, 60,and then feature button again (if you were forwarding to another extension you would have had to enter an extention after 60 and then the feature button. This sets your DND or call forward.
To eliminate press feature, 69 and then feature again this should cancel the call forawrd or do not disturb.
For GE 6.0:There is a button on the base lower right corner (NOT the phone), you need to press it once again to turn off Do Not Disturb
For GE 5.8 GHz:1. Pick up the phone handset and dial *98. 2. Press 2 to disable Do Not Disturb. 3. Once you hear the confirmation that Do Not Disturb has been disabled, you may hang up the phone handset. Hope this helps!
On the base unit, press the "Do Not Disturb" button. This button is located on the front right corner of the base unit. The button light should turn off indicating that the DND feature is deactivated.
