Many times a freezer and/or refrigerator do not work right because of a dirty condenser coil...there are also many other things that can go wrong.

If you are hearing a clicking or buzzing then check out the last two tips.

If your refrigerator is running but warm, then…

Check out this tip that I wrote about that... it is a great place to start trouble shooting your unit...and something that you can do rather then calling a repair person to do a simple thing for you...

Recently developed a whinning when I first start to move

Where is the whining noise actually coming from .. engine/gearbox or elsewhere?
A whining/screeching noise could be a drive belt .. such as the belt that drives the alternator.

On a manual car it could be the clutch bearing making the noise until it warms up. Does the clutch make a noise when you depress the pedal? That's the thrust bearing .. the bearing that operates the clutch.

I don't think you have too much to worry about. If you had engine trouble there would be knocks, rumbles and strange noises at all speeds.

A whining noise is usually associated with something spinning/turning .. such as a pulley/idler on a drive belt or a bearing alternator.

Put your mind at rest - get a mobile mechanic's opinion.

Rumbling noise

the fan may need to be replaced. try first to use a compressed air can to see if this fixes the problem or replace the fans

Rumble noise right front wheel

Sounds like a wheel bearing assembly failing.

Rumbling noise under neath car

I am at a loss knowing what gear box your referring to and if the rumbling noise began before or after changing the box. There are many things that could simply be loose underneath a vehicle. A wheel bearing can definitely make a rumbling noise. Sure you changed the right one. Can be hard to tell which one sometimes. Sorry I couldn't help more than I did.

Chevy s10 engine low power

Unusual to obtain exactly the same reading from each cylinder during a compression check, however good compression can be misleading when looking for problems.

To achieve it's potential, assuming an engine is in good order, the engine must be able to breathe efficiently and easily. Air and fuel must be able to get into the engine unimpeded and then leave without resistance. You mention a strange noise - might that be the noise of a strangled intake or perhaps a half-blocked exhaust, maybe the CAT is breaking up...

The Fan is rumbling, making noises- can it be

Often simply cleaning them carefully (no water of course) and oiling the motor will fix these noises. Occasionally they are too far gone, but this will fix most of them. Good luck.

Within the last month fridge started making a strange rumbling noise that lasts about 1-2 seconds. It occurs every hour or so. What is that and how can I fix it?

If the refrigerator is working ok,it may be the defrost drain pan vibrating when the compressor shuts off. You will need to see if it is out of position. Also, does this refer have an icemaker installed and if so is it working ok.

Rumbling in front tires

You probably have a bad wheel bearing or bad tire on left front. when making right turn left front wheel wil spin faster than right making noise louder.
