First, examine the gasket around the door or dishwasher front for tears or holes. If the gasket looks good, the door may have been flexed during installation or while loading / unloading. Open the door half way and try to flex counter clockwise. This should straighten out the door and allow the seal to contact properly.

Maytag eq plus dishwasher- how to disassemble bottom spray arm?

its probably leaving water in it and is clogged in the elecric pum or drain hose. somethins the pump has a rubber flap that will become lodged in the outlet port. this will cause dirty water to be left in the machine because of a slow drain. start by looking at the volume of water coming into garbage disposal where drain hose hooks up.

Maytag Jet Clean leaking through right side of door during rinse

It is important to examine the leak to see where it probably originates.

If the water is leaking from the right hand side of the door on your dishwasher, it is time to replace the gasket that seals the door when the door is latched.

Maytag jetclean eq plus dishwasher: soap problem

This could be due to 2 problems: not enough water or water is not being pumped hard enough through the system. The 'not enough water' is easy to check - open the door in the middle of a wash cycle. If you have enough water (about 1" or more) then that is probably ok. The 'not pumping hard enough' could be as simple as plugged up filters and holes in the spray arms. Remove the racks and disassemble the lower spray arm and the filter assembly all the way down past the screen. Clean the arm holes, throughly clean the screen, clean everything. Pull the top spray arm and throughly clean the spray holes there. Put it all together and run a cycle. You should see a pronounced increase in the sound of the water spraying around. This should fix your problem - it did for me.

Maytag jet clean dishwasher model# dwc7400aaw

Normally when you have low water pressure and/or cleaning issues, this an indication of a clog in your main wash pump. You will need to remove the lower spray arm and the coarse screen to get to the main wash pump sump. Inspect the impeller area of the pump. This area is usually where accumulations of debris collect and keep the pump from pulling enough water. Things like orange seeds, lemon seeds, bottle cap liners, chicken bones, and jar labels are just a few of the items I have personally found. Although, dishwashers do a good job at removing most food particles, they are not garbage disposals. I bet you will find a clog in the sump somewhere. Let me know if this helps.
