Using drum triggers with M Audio Delta 1010 and Digidesign MP 7.3

My drummer wants to use triggers with his drum set using the computer. He has the M Audio Delta 1010 unit that he can send the sound from the triggers to, using 8 triggers with 8 1/4' chords. The 1010 has a USB type chord that sends the audio to the computer where his Digidesign M Powered 7.3 software takes the audio and puts them on seperate tracks. That was the way we had it set up when we were using mics. Now he wants to use triggers. (The 1010 unit also has a midi in/out). What software and hardware does he need in order to use the 1010 and the Digidesign MP7.3 software with the drum triggers. Hopefully something that digidesign or M Audio makes.

Windows 7 64 bit Ultimate SP1. Nuendo 4.2.3. 32 bit version. Delta 1010 LT Sound card. Just out of the blue I started hearing slight crackle when playing back videos, wav files etc etc. It seems to do...

you might have to remove the sound card and make sure the socket is free of dust restart your computer then reinstall it
windows 7 should automatically find the drivers and install them
click start right click on computer select properties in the left hand panel device manager scroll to
sound and video game controllers if you see a yellow qustion/exclamation mark ? ! or a red X
a newe driver will need to be reinstalled
hope this will help

Hearing double voice when monitoring through delta 1010

Check to see if you have your onboard sound turned on. If you do turn it off and this should stop the double voice.

M audio sound cards

I don't believe that is going to work, the reason being the operating system will only accept one input device recording at a time...meaning you cannot record with 2 cards simultaneously....the only way you MAY be able to pull this off is if you record with 2 separate programs , and make each program use a different input device....

Loud buzz on every output with no audio

Look in the computer music mags and look fro M-Audio dealers. Ring them up and tell them the problem your having and see how much it will cost to fix. If it's humming then it's proably broke and needs repairing. Just make sure the sampel rate isn't set too low as well
