It should just stick on the CPU, but I suspect that the heatpipes are hitting the plastic shroud around the socket on the motherboard. If that is the case, I believe you can remove that plastic shroud so that the cooler can settle down the extra half a centimeter and make contact with the CPU.

Since the cooler doesn't use that shroud (I don't think) then this should be ok. Is this the problem you are having? If you could provide some pictures that would be lovely.

Are you using the single AMD clip or are you trying to use the 2 Intel clamps? (the ASUS M3A32 mobo is an AMD platform) Sorry if I am insulting you by needing to ask this question.

Is it missing by the thickness of the Thermal Paste?

Sorry that I cannot help further, but if you need extra help, try the Triton 79 forum which can be found here:

Good luck.

Hope it will solve.
If the problem is same please change or clean the RAM with eraser and install it again.
If the problem is same please ,
http://www.techspot.com/review/129-asus-p6t-deluxe/If the mobo is in warranty should change .If period expire Now you will create a identity mark on BIOS chip and ,you should remove resoiulder the BIOS chip from *********** board .and install it again tightly.

If all the procedure will fail think your mobo should change as new.
Hope this helps.

Cpu fan runs at high speed all the time

the problem is that the mother board you are now using has a 4th wire that sences cpu temp this allow the heat sink fan to change speed to get this to work correctly you will need to replace the fan with a 4 wire style. what is happening is your not getting a temp siginal back to motherboard so the fan controller think it hot and send full power to fan alll the time the stock fan in hp systems is not very good any way .Get a good heat sink and fan to fit your new board ebay has them very cheap 5.00 to 20.00 this will all so increase you system temp and all get the proper cooling when you really need it.

Computer shuts down in games, replaced Mem and PS 800W

I would check the bios and see what the shutdown temps are for the cpu as they may be set too low ( check the manuals for the cpu's as you dont want to set it too high as obviously if it does get too hot you dont want the cpu's ( processors ) to blow up or die on you.

Finding a cpu cooler replacement for motherboard with screwholes.

You should be able to purchase a cooler that fits your existing cooler plate.
Replacing a cooler can sometimes be a lot of work. Sometimes you have to remove the motherboard from the case and remove the cooler plate from the underside of the motherboard. Then coolers that use "just the holes" can be used. Or another (different) cooler plate can be installed that may have came with your new cooler. In my experience, the coolers that use "just the holes" (no plate) leave a lot to be desired. Plus, if you're not careful, you can damage the motherboard by applying too much force when installing the fan. If you use a new plate, don't forget to install the insulator between the motherboard and the plate, if it comes with one.
Be careful to protect against unwanted electrostatic discharge. Always touch the metal computer case before touching any parts inside the computer. Also, if you remove the mobo, take careful note of where all the wires go before disassembly.

Computer won't turn on.

This sounds like an overheat problem, is your cooling fan working properly, also the processor you are using is a powerful one, so needs a cooling fan much more powerful than the lesser powered athlon 64 processors.
