Error code F13 is showing on Whirlpool AWOE8748 washing machine, please advise how this can be fixed

Disconnect tube to switch. Let basin fill to full. Reconnect tube(clear plastic hose)

Hi

F13 is a door lock error which means that the door lock is bad and should be replaced. To unlock the door you can leave it unplugged for around 10 minutes and the door will unlock. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

Hi. The F13 error code indicates a problem with the doorlock mechanism.

Whirlpool have identified issues with some models and door lock errors so it may be adviseable for you to contact whirlpool customer services.

The error can lead to the door jamming shut.

First of all open the door, if you can, and check that the lock latch on the door is level with the door lock hole on the front panel of the machine. Sometimes you can accidently lean on the door when putting in or taking out the washing sending the lever and hole out of alignment. You can put pressure on the door to align it either way if not level. If you need more help then repost.

If the dispenser motor is not able to be driven to it’s proper position.
Check mechanical linkage from dispenser motor to the top of the dispenser.
Check Wire Harness connections to the dispenser motor and Central Control Unit (CCU)
Check Dispenser Motor

The F30 error code will flash when the dispenser motor cannot be driven to its proper position.

* It could have a mechanical failure in the linkage between the dispenser motor and the top of the dispenser.
* Loose wire connection between the machine control board and the dispenser motor
* Failed dispenser motor

its the dryer fan thermostat, faulty. the unit will turn off if it does not read the thermostat and that's why you have a code. F13 indicates "Dispenser Circuit Error" in your washer.If the dispenser motor is not able to be driven to it's proper position this error code appears.Check mechanical linkage from dispenser motor to the top of the dispenser. The wire harness connections to the dispenser motor and Central Control Unit (CCU) would have been faulty so check for those.Also do a final check on dispenser motor.
