I have a LS-2125 brother machine, and when I sew the thread from the bottom catches and breaks. I have taken the bobbin casing apart and cleaned and oiled it, changed bobbins, tried to adjust the tension,and varied the speeds at which i sew and nothing has helped. Any solutions?

Make sure that it is threaded right, and that you do not have your needle inserted backwards, flat side should face rear of machine, read your manual carefully. If you do not have one, go to www.brother-usa.com and you download one for free.

Thread keeps breaking and underneath not sewing right

There may be a broken thread in the bobbin case effecting the lower thread tension. clean all parts and determine if the upper thread or lower thread is breaking if cleaning does not help. double check your machine threading and bobbin installation direction.
http://www.mastersewusa.com : this site has many operator manuals if the above suggestion does not help.

I have a brother LS-2125 and the thread from the bobbin is not catching and is not being pulled through.PLEASE HELP! i need it for an assignment! :)

Here are some things that may fix the problem:
1. First, replace the needle
2. Next, remove the thread and completely rethread the machine
3. Remove the bobbin, clean any lint or thread from around the bobbin, and replace it.
Try sewing again on scrap fabric.
I hope this helps.

I have this machine brother ls-2125.my

You need to either adjust the tension or ensure that you have routed the bobbin thread properly.

My bobbin thread keeps getting tangled and breaking everytime I try and sew....I have tried rethreading the bobbin, taking everything apart and cleaning out the dust and debris, I have adjusted the thread...

there is a screw on the side of the bobbin case, which needs to be turned to the left or counter clockwise to loosen the tension and also change the needle because a burr on the end will cause problems with bobbin thread

Lower thread keeps jamming even though bobbin case is clean and tension on thread has been adjusted.

Hello,
Here are some things to try.

* Re-thread your machine

* Change your bobbin
There could be a nick along the edge of your bobbin spool that’s catching your thread as you
sew.

Also, before you start to sew a seam, grasp the upper and bobbin thread tails. Hold them back
and out of the way as you sew your first couple of stitches. This will keep them from getting
caught in your machine.
I hope one of these solutions help.

NEEDLE KEEPS COMING UNTHREADED WILL NOT CATCH IN FABRIC

Make sure you are threading the machine correctly and it has the proper tension. Also check the bobbin the thread has to go thru the little lash

Bobbin holder keeps catchin thread

Try re-threading, make sure the presser lifer is up so the tension discs are open and the thread will go into them. It sounds like you may have missed either the upper tension discs or the take up lever.

A drop of oil on the hook wouldn't hurt if you haven't oiled in awhile.

good luck!

My brother 2125I sewing machine bottom thread keeps breaking

You may be sewing too fast, using cheap thread or your tension is off. All of which can cause your bobbin thread to break.
