I have the Frigidaire Affinity Washer and Dryer. A few weeks ago my Washer door switch went out I changes that with no problem. Now the Dryer has just stop quit working. Here are the symptoms on the ; 1>it's plug up and the power is fine 2> there is no errors on the panel 3> control operate fine. 4> close the door, set the controls, press start, No spinning. 5> when you press start you hear a buzzing sound for about 5 seconds, then nothing... Is it over for the dryer I bought 3 years with out extended warranty, or is the a simple fix? Thanks, Rob...

You don't say how old the unit is or how heavily loaded it is? Check the belt first. You can't adjust the tension, all you can do is replace it.

Something has seized the motor. It could be something in the blower(pen pencil, golf tee, you'd be surprised what can get in there). It could also be a seized bearing on the motor. There are electrical things that could have those symptoms but I would check the mechanical ones first. Let me know what you find.

looking at schematics looks like you main control board is the faulty part. you have done a very good job of tracing the voltages from the source. been that all voltages are present and door switch is good the part left is the control board. here is the part# 33002886. you can find it at sears website or service center.
