Check filter light blinking will not start only beeps what to do please help

Probably a lint buildup on the sensor. Need to clean the entire lint system. Should be able to remove the plastic frill if the lint filter is inside the drum. Remove the two screws and clean out all the lint then pull the dryer out remove the vent hose. Run a vacuum hose or reach up i to there and pull out the li t. Then clean out the vent hise...a broom handle works if it's a straight shot.

The tumble dryer bip and flash "empty water" even if no water. I have cleaned every filter (2 inside the big filter at the bottom of the tumble dryer) but still have the trouble

Hi,

I want to first make sure that your dryer is serviced up. so i want you to do these steps.
Most of the problems will be resolved doing these......

As clothes are tumble dried, they drop fibres. Most of this fluff is trapped by the lint filter and this needs to be checked and cleaned regularly. Lint also builds up in the vent pipe and around the electric motor in the rear of the dryer.

1.clean lint filter
989c696.jpg
Wait until the dryer cools, open the door and lift out the lint filter.
Gently brush off lint using your fingers.
On many models, the filter may also be washed. Check your manual for instructions.
If the filter is damaged in any way, you should replace it.

2.Vacuum area where lint filter sits:

The area where the lint filter sits should be vacuumed .
Remove the lint filter, and use a narrow vacuum nozzle to remove dust and lint from the fitting.

3.Clean inside the tumble dryer:
8dc9315.jpg

2210c2c.jpg
1. Make sure the dryer is cool, switch it off and unplug it.
2. Unscrew the retaining screws on the back panel, and lift it off. Vacuum the blower area.
3. Also vacuum around the vent pipe connection.
4. Replace the back panel and refit all the screws.

4.Check tumble dryer vent hose:
8d2299a.jpgWait for the dryer to cool. Unplug the vent hose and inspect its entire length for snags in the pipe.
Make sure the vent is not obstructed on the outside wall, and fit a flap or screen to keep out small animals.
If your vent pipe is punctured or damaged, you should replace it.

To avoid dryer problems,
Make sure the dryer is level and does not rock, and consult the manufacturer's instructions for the maximum weight of clothing to dry at one time. Also, make sure clothes have been spun-dry before putting them into the dryer.

This is just initial help,
Post your comments about how things turned up, Ill be giving suggestions based on your reply........

Thanx for using fixya,
Cheers.

Maytag dryer model #PYE2200AYW how to remove lint compartment once I removed the screws in the front

Instructions
Things You'll Need:

Nylon scrub brush Liquid detergent Vacuum

1.Remove the lint screen, which usually is located in the front of a Maytag dryer. Gently pull it up and out, and remove the lint with your fingers.
2. Use hot water and wet both sides of the lint screen. Use a nylon scrubbing brush and a little bit of liquid dish soap or laundry detergent to scrub the screen clean of lint and fabric softener buildup. Rinse both sides thoroughly with hot water. Towel dry and replace the lint screen when dry. Maytag states that owners should do this every six months.
3.Clean the exhaust every two years, as recommended by Maytag. Whoever installed your dryer had to install the exhaust vent. Unplug your dyer and unscrew the vent from the back of the dryer. Use a vacuum attachment or your hands to remove any clogged lint and replace. You may need to do the same thing to the other end that is attached to the wall.
4.Clean the dryer cabinet. According to Maytag, a professional should remove lint from the dryer cabinet every two years. This may be a good time to have him clean out the vents as well, rather than doing it yourself, if preferred.
5.Clean your lint screen on a regular basis. Maytag states that you should clean the lint screen with your fingers before using the dryer each time. Be sure to replace it all the way so it can work properly.

My dryer is flashing "E68" and beeping on the

E68 means a button is stuck on the control board, you can lightly press all buttons and see if that clears the problem. Next slam the door shut as it may be the sensor door latch, then unplug the dryer as it maybe lint built up on the lint trap: remove your lint filter.remove the waffled plastic that covers the lint filter slot. , its inside the dryer, and there's two screws holding it in. Be careful, because there's two wires connected to the metal strip on the bottom edge of it. That metal strip is sensor. Don't drop the screws into the lint filter slot. you might find that a lot of lint has built up around the contacts for those two wires. Carefully clean all the lint and if you have an attachment for you vacuum you may want to use it just be careful and plug back in , and reinstall. Might want to check the vent tube since we are cleaning as it may be restricted. unplug dryer and the last thing is to take the back off and see if the control board itself is damaged or dirty, if it is dusty/dirty with a brush lightly brush it off. If none of the above worked then I would call the company at 1-800- 444-4944. Good Luck and let me know Tim

Gas dryer does not heat

A gas dryer is nothing to mess with if it does not fire up the flame. Pull the lower kick plate off the front of the dryer, unplug the unit and clean out dust/lint build up. Vacuum as needed.
Then after checking that the gas valve that is connected to the end of the gas line that connects from the dryer to the wall, I recommend you get a professional.
Common failures are the pilot / ignition system / thermocouple.
No way to be more specific unless you provide the brand and model number of your dryer.

I have a kennmore electric dryer all of a sudden it will only run about 10 minutes and shuts off when you try to restart it won't come back on you have to wait for a little while then it works but only for...

Sounds like it is getting too hot and the hi-temp safety switch opens up until it cools down again. Try vacuuming all of the vent pipes and hose. Remove the lint screen and wash it in hot water and detergent to clean it of fabric softener deposits. Hope this helps!

Beeping dryer

Is your lint trap in the front? If so, there should be two screws on either side of it. Undo those screws to see if it is clogged. I had the same problem with mine. I had to clean it out by hand and then use a vacuum to get down further for the rest. I also had to disconnect the exhaust hose from the back, that can also build up lint in it, clean that out the best you can, check where the hose connects to the wall and to the dryer then clean any lint out that has built up. You should be able to disconnect the hole on the bottom of the dryer. It should be connected by one little screw. You can pull that out once you have removed the screw so that you can reach inside to check for more lint that can be removed. There should also be a small vent on the bottom left hand side, remove that vent and that gives you access to the bottom of the dryer, if you lucky unlike me there won't be too much lint stuck in there. I used one of the air spray cans that you use on a computer to clean all the lint off the motor, that could cause a fire. Once you have cleaned all the lint that you can hook everything back the way that is was and it should be fine. Since it is your lint light that is coming on then that should be your solution. You have a clog somewhere in the areas I told you that needs cleaned. Good luck.

Keep getting 3 beeps and the lights come on while its beeping.

Mine has been beeping incessantly as well. Turned out that even though I was cleaning the filter after each load, there was still a ball of lint the size of a tennis ball that was blocking the lint sensor. To fix, I removed the screws from the plastic piece that holds the lint trap and slid it out (it won't come out entirely.) Then I used the mini attachments for my vacuum to remove the lint from the bottom of that space. Once I did that, the dryer has been working flawlessly.

Check lint filter and touch up keep coming on-beeping

Clean out entire venting system. If you are using flexable hose type, replace with solid metal type or at least replace with new hose. You may have a clog my friend.
