My zune keeps displaying the contact support message and ive fixed it before but it keeps freezing and having the same problem and now its making a clicking sound. Its done this before and i sent it back and got a new one because i had a warranty on it but when i got the new one it started having the same problem a couple months later I have the Gears of War edition one im not sure why it keeps messing up.

I tried doing a clean reinstall of the Zune Software support.microsoft.com/kb/929358

I tried updating the DRM software support.microsoft.com/kb/929642

and both did not work.

I called Zune support and they sent me to go.microsoft.com/fwlink?linkid=105000 that downloaded an executable file named "ResetDRM" I ran the executable and it spit out a text file that said the DRM was successfully reset. I restarted my Zune software and it worked fine, an almost instant fix.

i get the same exact problem what i do is restart my computer and plug my zune into a diffrent usb port(i have 4...2 in the front and 2 in the back) and my back ones work fine try that and let me know if it works

JUST HOLD THE BACK BUTTON AND THE UP BUTTON FOR 30 SEC. AND YOU WILL BE GOOD DON'T WORRY PEOPLE.... ALSO WHEN I FREZZE ALOT THAT MEANS YOU DATA ON THE ZUNE IS COUPPORTED AND YOU WILL NEED TO RESET THE WHOLE DEVICE OK.
