Alright just for my bros sake i restored the onboard drivers just so he can use it for temp use.. uninstalled the old drivers for the other 2 graphics cards and set up the default setting for everything computer was running great all night booted up and shut down 3 times with no problems. This morning b4 i got up donno what exactly what happend but now the pc will boot but no responce from the HD(nothing) nor the monitor(yellow light) and i can boot it down by holding down the power buttion. when i booted it down just to make sure its not anything that i can see wires loose or what not.. unpulgging the power cable from the tower checked a few things nothing seemed to be wrong at all, same set up. now when i go to plug back in the power cable it boots itself up everytime after. The prossesor fan running at a high RPM the whole time.
now im thinking the problem might actully be the motherboard.
if i can get any feed back this would be great! thanks again sorry didnt get a chance to try what u suggested =\ from the last post!
I think that you should get someone local to help you through this - unless you are confident that you can do it yourself.
I suspect that you may be right about the motherboard.
Did you take all precautions as regards static electricity when working inside the case?
But before replacing the motherboard - try the hard drive in another computer and another computer's hard drive in this one. I say this because you said there was nothing from the hard drive and they do fail occasionally.
Obviously if the HD works in another computer then it is the motherboard and vice versa if another HD works in your computer. This will allow you to identify which component is faulty. I still think you are right about the MB though.
Hope you haven't thrown away those Video Cards! They might both be good.
Good luck.
