Washed a big long pillow and left the house. The washer probably went off balance, but now it leaks from the lower front right hand side. What do I do?

Front right would most likely be the discharge pump. Here's a diagram:

Sounds like you could have a pump problem or a loose hose. First, go ahead and clean the drain pump filter (as per instructions in the Use & Care Manual). Screw it back in tightly to see if that resolves the issue.

If not, check this posting for how to run a diagnostic test: http://www.fixya.com/support/t9576766-found_small_part

Test T02 will show you the most recently encountered codes. At the bottom of that posting is a link to the code definitions with problem resolutions: http://www.fixya.com/support/t9556917-ge_model_wcvh6800j_error_code_04

If you don't get any error codes and all tests run correctly, open the front access panel and see if you can figure out where the leak is originating from (To remove the panel: undo three screws and lift from the bottom).
Please post back once you either have codes or have located the leak source...then we can troubleshoot more.

Samsung washer wa5471ab leaks water after washing several loads (underneath, front left corner)

You probably have a clogged filter. It's a pretty easy fix, but can be tough to turn filter cap.

Project will take about a half hour, Tools needed 5/16' or 1/4" nut driver, or socket with extension. Flashlight, door stop or small piece of wood. Low profile tupperware container and a small trash can that can hold water. A bath size towel.

Step one: Remove the panel under the washer door, with a 5/16" or1/4" nut driver or socket driver with extention. There are three screws to remove them cover comes off.
(set screws and cover aside from where your working)

Step two: Locate on the right hand side a round pipe with a "s" looking plug, it is tight but turn counter clockwise with a good bit of pressure and it will slowly loosen up. (Have a low profile tupperware container etc to slide under the pipe to catch the water. It may be good to have a bucket or plastic trash can to dump into as small container fills up. Also a towel to help contain the spills.)

Step three: Once cap is removed, you will see a basket, pull it out and clean it out, You may find a sock, lint, paper or change, something that is causing you troubles in there.

Step Four: Wipe out, and re-assemble. replace basket, screw cap back into place, secure snugly. Then Replace cover, It is helpful to have a small piece of wood, door stop small book to wedge slightly under the panel as you re-install the screws. Also, a flashlight to help you see the holes for alignment is nice.

Good Luck.

HELLO, we washed clothes and the soap would not clear and the clothes were still water logged. Now in trying to fix it, it will not drain, Not sure what to do terri

Drain the water out by using the small hose located behind the access panel on the lower left side of the washer's front panel. After removing water, un-screw the big knob to the right of the hose and pull it out to check for blockage in the filter. If blockage found, remove and re-try cycle. If no blockage found in filter, replace pump motor.

LAT 7793 ABL model number. Washer leaking during fill...? a seal or gasket but not sure how to remove the spin bars to access it

On Your washer to locate a leak, remove the front panel first. Should be two clips at the bottom of front panel, use a putty knife to pry them down while pulling lower of front panel forward (older models used two screws right through front panel on left and right sides). After getting both lower clips loose, pull bottom of front panel forward to remove from top.
Set front panel aside and then use a 3/8" socket or nut-driver to remove two screws (one each) in the front right and left corners that secure the top to the side panels of the washer (inside in front corners going upwards). After screws are removed slide machine away from the wall about 8-10" and lift front of top up. Will pivot up like the hood on a car. This will allow you to examine machine for leaks.
Let me know when you come up with leak location if you need any more help!!

Ge front loader leaks when filling

Leaks are probably going to come from one of 4 places:
  1. Door gasket: water should run down the face of the washer from the lowest point of the door.
  2. Water connectors: left rear of machine
  3. Soap drawer: water running down front of machine from the upper left-hand side
  4. Discharge pump and hoses: Right side.
Rear right would probably indicate a discharge hose leak. Front right would most likely be the discharge pump and/or connectors to it. Here's a diagram:

If you don't see any of the easily visible leaks (door, soap dispenser, connectors), try to
pop off the front access panel by removing the 3 bottom screws. Once removed try to determine where the leak is originating from...then we can troubleshoot more. If you find this advice helpful, please don't forget to rate me -- trying to get my Guru level so I can offer premium support

Duet washer 9250ml1 leaks while washing bulky clothes and pillows, towels. Not during smaller loads

I had a problem with my washer leaking only part of the time - not from the door, but from the base. There was also a stinky smell after I washed several loads. I couldn't find out where they smell was coming from in my wash room. It wasn't until I started getting the code F 02 that I researched a little further. It ended up that my Drain Pump was clogged - very clogged. When I opened it, it was a horrible smell. So - I solved 3 problems in one: my small leak, bad wash room smell, and F 02 code.
To reach the drain pump, unscrew the lower front panel on your washer. It was a white casing in the middle. Just unscrew & look. I believe in the newer models, they have this available to unscrew directly from the front of the washer. Must've been a common problem.

Land rover Discovery 2004, rear right hand side down 2 inches

If you have the coil spring suspension, then your spring for that corner has really sagged[doubtful] I suspect you actually have the rear air suspension ,and the air spring for the Right/Rear has lost air, allowing the rear end to lower down greatly. Usually, you need a new air spring when one develops a leak. You may or may not be able to see the leak with a spray solution of soapy water after the spring is removed for inspection. Sometimes you have to apply about 20psi of air pressure into the spring to inflate it a bit, then put the spring under water in a big enough tank/tub of water to catch the leak that way.
