I have motion lightts on my back porch. I would like to just plain turn them on when I have a back yard party, but I don't know how to over ride the motion sensor. Can you help? Thanks.

On most motion sensor lights if you turn the switch on, then off and on quickly, they will stay on till you turn them back off. Leave it off for at least 10 seconds and turn it back on to go back to the motion sensor.

Porch swing RUS4172 need parts

Hello, Gerri -

Did you purchase the porch swing new or second-hand?

If you purchased it new, then you know where you purchased it (at a bricks and mortar store or online.) You should contact the business or individual seller from which you purchased the porch swing and ask for the needed parts or ask to return the porch swing for a full refund (including the return shipping costs, if you need to ship the swing.)

If you purchased the porch swing second-hand, then you should need to contact the seller about the missing pieces.

Apparently the RUS4172 porch swing is a Living Accents brand. Living Accents appears to be a trademark owned by Ace Hardware, according to Trademarkia:
https://www.trademarkia.com/living-accents-77043477.html

You may wish to contact Ace Hardware Customer Service to find out about the availability of the missing porch swing parts:

I want to replace my existing single bulb porch light with a 2 bulb motion activated light. It would be operated with the existing switch. Is this ok to do?

Yes. Must keep switch turned ON.
Outdoor lights will only come on when motion is detected, otherwise light bulb does not come on. So the indoor wall switch does not work as override since the motion sensor takes over as the sole switch.

Other solutions include adding separate motion sensor light nearby and keep porch light so you can turn on-off when desired.
Another option is to add photocell to outdoor light so it turns on automatically at dusk.
Another option is to use outdoor yard timer with dawn-dusk capability:

Another option is to replace indoor wall switch with with dawn-dusk timer, that can also be used as ordinary on-off switch so you can turn porch light on-off when desired. Timer such as Intermatic ST01C offers simple 2-wire connection.:

We have a motion sensored light with two lights and the motion box. 1 black wire and one white per light but the middle has 1 black, 1 white and 1 red. We are hooking it to the porch light and dont know...

You are replacing porch light with light fixture with motion sensor device.
Each light has 1 black and 1 white wire.
The motion sensor has 1 black 1 red 1 white:

My sensor no longer works. It use to turn on the porch light when someone entered the carporch. How do I open the sensor so that I can put new batteries in it? I know that it uses AAA batteries.

Manual for this sensor is not available.
In the Zenith I have installed The motion sensor battery slot was h at the back side of the sensor, you had to remove the sensor from the wall sliding it on one side to access the battery. It mounted two AA batteries, not AAA.

Riding mower surges in forward and not reverse. It

Ok first of all is not an automatic. Its a pedal operated transmission. The motion is accomplished by tightening a belt with a moveable idler and it is only shifted with a lever to forward and reverse. The belt probabley has a burnt spot in it and it hits that spot and it feels like a surge. Replace the motion belt

I have a John Deere Ride on Toy stuck in reverse

Are the actual shifter levers not engaging or are the switches not clicking?
These Peg Perego Parts are available at http://www.shopjandl.com/, but I would check to make sure if it is the switches specifically or the levers under the shifter.
It is simple to check the shifter by taking the 2 screws out that hold the shifter in.
Hope this helps.
