My Kenmore Elite he5t steam washer is about 2yrs old. I am now consistently getting either "Sud" code or F35. Is there a part for the F35 that needs to be replaced? If yes, could you let me know as well as the part number for it?

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Error F 35 means ANALOG PRESSURE SENSOR FAILURE- If this failure is displayed then there is any malfunction of the component detected by the Steamer Electronic Board.

1. Check if pressure hose is fixed correctly.
2. Check if the air trap is not blocked.
3. Check if the hose is not blocked

If it still not works then it is a problem with the water level pressure switch operation. There could be a blockage in the air dome or pressure switch hose. The air dome is located on the back of the tub on the left hand side. If the pressure switch hose and the air dome are clear of any blockages, then there is an issue with the water level pressure switch.

Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or else post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

Replacing the water level pressure switch worked for me. There are instructions inside the lower right site panel to help confirm this is the fix you need. Also note that some of these machines were manufactured with sensor part # W10156252, which has been discontinued. The functional replacement is part # W10249845, but an alignment tab must be trimmed from the connector to install it. No other mods are necessary.

My Kenmore Elite he5t steam washer gets F35 error code

F35 is a water level error.
The water level switch (pressure switch) has malfunctioned.

If you remove the top panel, three screws in the back, you will have access to the pressure switch.

With the tub empty, remove the vinyl hose from the switch and blow backwards through the hose to clear any restrictions.

If the fault codes return after doing this, you will likely need to replace the pressure switch.

Also - please be sure to use He soap.

Sud and f35 error in my kenmore elite h5 steam washer. The washer do not wash the cloth and flash F35.

I got the f35 and suds code repeatedly and my clothes weren't washed, I ordered from Sears the analog pressure switch that regulates the water coming into the washer and the codes went away, the part is esitmately $125.00 including shipping but you have to order from the Sears parts department. If you print a diagram of the washer it is #38 in the diagram and is easy to replace. You can install it yourself and as a female I did not call service to do it.

SUD means there are too many soap suds in the washer. Are you using a front load approved detergent? Are you using the correct amount? or slightly less is better.

F35 code appears, even after changing the steam chamber.

IT IS THE ANALOG PRESSURE SENSOR NOT THE STEAM CHAMBER.
