rear section of your Victory XL, near the manual freewheel lever and the main circuit breaker reset button. See figure 7. Batteries. The batteries store the ...
make sure battery cables are secure at battery terminals and clean.how old are the batteries. If the batteries run down fast they are no good.a good way to test them is put scooter against some thing solid and go forward. If the battery indicator drops to o the batteries are no good.It takes about 10 hours to charge the batteries
Hi, Sadly that sounds like your batteries have called it a day however please check your charger as this can have a fault and this can make your batteries appear weak and the battery teminal connections, are they loose ?. Check your manual as I think you can fit 12V 40Amp batteries to this scooter.
so first take off the seat, please be carefull how you do this as they can be heavy,
Now remove the cover , again carefull as there may be some wires connected for the lights so discconect these,
Now look for the break located on the side of the motor ( can be a gold colour), check the wires here, make sure they are a good connection, now check the battery teminals , are they loose check the wiring here, now does the brake click when you move the throttle lever, it may be a really faint click, no click then check the connections leading to the controller, normally a black or blue box.
IT could also be the fact that the batteries are faulty and appear fully charged, again check the charger making sure it is really charging , last of all it could be in fact a controller fault or brake fault
Hi. Have you checked the free-wheel lever is in the correct position?
Is one of the battery lights or any LED flashing? If so, count the flashes between the pauses, and let us know.

Good luck. Neil.
Hi Check the main fuse - usually located on the starter solenoid Check condition of battery & ensure connections are good Check wiring & connections from battery - to earth point: Check fastness Check wiring & connections from battery + to starter solenoid and on to Ignition switch then to fuse box
Still got a problem ?
If so get a meter & check the above mentioned wiring for continuity Check battery voltage & check for power at solenoid & at connections to / from the ignition switch
If that doesn't find the problem then try an Exorcism
