Question about Planar PDP-42BK 42 in. Plasma HDTV
I recently aquired a Planar PDP-42BK 42" Plasma TV. The screen went out while I was watching it. The power led would flash from green to red. Based upon the problems that I was having and looking at the description of the problems other people were having with the same model tv, I determined that the capacitors were blown and needed replacing. I uninstalled the power board and had the caps replaced. Now, I just installed the power board, and the backlight will not come on. I have no screen. I have a steady green light once powered up. Does anyone have any ideas on what to do next. I live in Athens, GA, and I do not know of any reputable tv repair shops.
Who changed the caps and what caps did they change, also there are two switches on the board one should be normal and the other on 30v
