Trying to use buttonhole foot. installed like manual said. just beeps when I start to sew.

sounds like it's set to a different function than what you're wanting at the time, perhaps reset, check the needle's position (mine wouldnt work because it was still in threading position)...or you have it's function set at the innappropriate speed (see panel on machine)...really dont know without seeing it, but it happened to me too once, just had to fiddle with it's speed and settings til it allowed what i was wanting to do.

I've borrowed a memorycraft 300e from a friend. I've used it without incident for a few days but suddenly without any issues now whenever I turn the machine on I get an error message

Did you check the needle down button. Be honest and return it. Price one and wonder why you borrowed something so expensive. She may know what to do. But dont tinker or try to fix it. It seems like a fixable error. You probably afraid to tell her. But you stressing yourself out. If you borrow it you probably know a cheap embroidery machine is about $500. Just get it back and maybe she won't snap its probably something simple.

How do i use large spool on janome memory craft 4000

It sounds like the holder is placed too far away from your machine therefore putting too much strain on it and therefore tipping it over. If this dosn;t work you can actually get a holder that attaches to the top of the sewing machine and hangs on the carry handle.

Hello, i have borrowed a sewing machine from a friend and its a janome 16 stitch but I dont have a manual for it. I don't know what the model number is for the machine? Can you help me please!

look at plate on side of machine near power inlet, this should give codes. visit www.sewing.about.com for general sewing machine guide, threading and maintenance or try searching utube, might be a video of your model in use or similar. late Janomes have same top loading bobbin system which is pretty straight foward. there are some threading diagrams at www.sewusa.com too

I dont know how to put the thred in

try visiting www.sewing.about.com for general machine use, threading diagrams and help.

Or borrow a general "how to use a sewing machine" book from your library.

Also buying the Singer manual for your machine is always helpful as it will be specific to your machine.

However, if you've never used a machine at all, best advice is take lessons.

When i switch on my Bernina Artista 180 it blows

Almost-certainly due to the main switching transistor having blown, however this is not necessarily an easy fix ... very often when this happens it takes a number of other components with it ... I had one last week where no less than 10 other components had got fried (and I do mean fried beyond recognition, due to somebody having put a bigger fuse in - doh! - dont ever do this ... it's dangerous!). Best thing to do if you dont really know what you're doing is to get a complete exchange 'L'-print.

What format is the memory card for a white 3300

yes, the white 3300 uses the pes cards, the same ones used by brother and babylock. the only brother cards that will NOT work in the white 3300 are the disney ones (they are made so only a disney machine will read the programming) except for the taste of disney - that will work in your machine. :)
