Also, I have a new message light that keeps on blinking even when there are no messages. Clients and employees are complaining about the piercing beep when on hold. We've called customer service and they could not answer. We have 4 RCA Executive Series and 1 cordless in this office and other offices have as well. Unfortunately the Beep is built into the phone itself. Other than throwing the phone away (seriously considered) you can add on hold music which at least plays sound and reduces, somewhat, the annoyance of the beep. You need to purchase a Skutch CK-7, which is an on hold music adapter that works on the phone. I do not sell them, so suggest you just google them on line. It is not great, but better than just the beep

On 10 Jan 2011 Airtel Charge Rs 80 & when i complain to customer care there was no return of money or any Satisfied answer. And yesterday on I recharge Rs11 sms balance and as i was sending sms Airtel charge Rs 5 & today also when i complain to customer care there no Satisfied answer.

The phone generates a low beep tone about once every 10 seconds for the
person on hold. This lets them know that they were not hung up on but
at the same time it is not needed if you have music like a typical
office puts on the holding lines. I talked with the manufacturer and
they told me that this feature can not be disabled through programming.
There is however a on-hold aftermarket adapter that can be placed in
front of the music system that will eliminate the tone (Invotel
AudioImage SX4400EZ). The cost we paid for this device was about $200
which has a audio input and in/out plugs for all 4 lines. This aftermarket system is designed to replace the beeps with music you provide through the audio input.
try rebuilding the database and the file system in recovery consol
to get to the recovery consol press and hold the power button when ps3 is in standby mode(red light) till you hear a double beep. sometimes the ps3 does a beep then another beep and goes back into standby thsi is fine just release the power and quikly press and hold it again till you get double beep.
like on my 80g system it goes like this
ps3 standby...press hold power.......beep .........beep........stanby again....release and hold power again.......beep .........double beep...release power now you should be in recovery menu.
If you have more than one phone line which I assume that you do -if one party has not completely hung up the handset after putting someone on hold when you pick it up on your end you will hear that beeping noise that you are talking about. Have them pick back up the line while you are on it and replace the handset again on thier phone to disconnect completely.
