Dbeffort, Try to prove that you have audio (stereo) signal coming out the "lite-green" audio output jack on the pc!!! Use a set of stereo headphones or "ear-buds" to prove audio is present. Let me know results of test. 12fixlouie

Can i hook up speakers to an lg e2340v moniter to watch netflix? i have it hooked up through hdmi. I have no sound though.

The monitor does not have sound passthru feature so the speakers would not be able to work that way. You can connect the speakers to the Roku box in the audio out jacks. You will need to get a cable from radio shack to make the connection.

1. Check if your video cable is OK and fitted tight
2. RESET the monitor by setting to factory settings.
3. If not OK, try another video connector and/or other video cable.

The manual you can find here or here.

Have LG W2343 monitor. Just purchased a new HP computer which has Windows 7, but having trouble with the size resolution on my screen. Monitor worked fine on my old HP computer which had Windows XP

You have to look hereto see if it is compatible with Windows 7,
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/windows-7/en-us/Browse.aspx?type=Hardware&category=Displays&subcategory=LCD&showallcats=true&v=LG%20ELECTRONICS

Otherwise you will need Windows 7 driver from LG if they have one.
Most monitors works fine without the need of the drivers when running XP, but Windows 7 you need the correct drivers to get the correct resolution setting, that is one of the reason I do not care much for Windows 7 until they fix this problem, since a lot of people out there that still have great working monitors that work just fine with XP, most manufacturers do not provide drivers for Windows 7 for old monitors because they want you to buy new monitors.

I have a L194WT LG Flatron monitor. One day it

Same problem started happening two days ago and ever since. I called LG and the product falls under a 3yr product warranty according to them (from my original purchase date of January 20, 2007). They will send packing slips to me so I can send the defective unit back to LG. I was told I am eligible for a replacement monitor - which will be shipped to me within 10 to 14 days (consecutive days, not business) - although I'm not sure what I'm being sent in return. My suspicion is that this monitor issue is a known issue by LG and they are quietly replacing the unit to those who follow through by calling CS.

Tips: Have your original purchase date on hand (in the form of a receipt) just in case they want proof of purchase.
