XEROX WORKCENTRE PRO 40

SHAH JEE , I HAVE PROBLEM WITH MY MACHINE AS SOME TIME FUSER PROBLEM COMES WITH THE SERVICE MESSAGE. I HAVE CHECKED THE FUSER ITS HEATS UP. PLEASE HELP ME TO FIND THE PROBLEM.

ITS SAY WARMING UP THE FUSER WHICH REMAINS . AND ANOTHER MESSAGE COMES UP CALL THE SERVICE.
I HAVE TRIED TO CLEAN THE TIPS WHICH ARE TOUCHING THE HEATER ROD (RED) ON THE BOTHS ENDS TIGHTEN LITTLE BIT BUT DIDNT WORK THE HEATER SEEMS TO WARM WHICH I CAN FEEL WITH FINGERS TIPS. THERE IS ANOTHER BUTTON TYPE THING WHICH IS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HEATER. NO RESULTS YET.THANKS FOR HELPING ME.

What code is it given? Is it trying to warm up and gets warm and then codes out???? You may have a short in your thirmister ... Try to clean the sensor it self of biult up toner. Then reinstall the thirmister and test the copier. You may have to replace the thirmister... Good Luck

Xerox workcentre 5765 paper jam message but no paper is jammed

Check all the paper detecting sensors once more, may be there is something over the sensor.clean all the sensors with VIDEO 90. if after that problem persist please restart the machine and go for software and firmware upgrades.

Xerox workcentre pro 40-communication problem encountered

Some connection is lose. One of the connectors to the main board may be loose. The communication it is taling about is the machine devices are not talking to the main board.
If you just purchased it you can call Xerox and they will send someone free of charge to fix it.
The number is 1-800-821-2797.
Does there happen to be a code coming up with the message? like an 03-888 ot 05-222?

Call 1-800-828-5881 and follow the prompts. They will give you the part number you need.

My machine shows a U4 code

U4 code refers to a fuser heat failure, you'll probable find the fuser roll is stone cold .Possible cause is open circuit heater or overheat thermostat popped.Either way you will need to pull out the fuser unit and check continuity of the components

Xerox 416 Fuser

Is it getting thru the "pinch of the fuser and catching on the stripper fingers? If so clean the fingers, ensure they are not worn or tips broken.(Running sheets with dark lead edge can cause sheets to stick to rollers,try running blank sheets to clean up, if they get thru then try normal copies)
If the sheet stops before entering the rolls more likely to be dirty entry chute, drive problem or sensor problem....need more detail
