Charging phone in Europe

My C139 tracfone's power cord states it's 110-220 voltage. Can I charge the phone, with proper plug adapter, in Europe?

Thanks.

STOP!!!
If, by 'power cord' you mean the charger unit, then a Euro adapter is all you need (US pins to Euro pins).  That is what I do here in Cyprus.  Otherwise, buy a European charger.

Yes!!

Any adapter that accepts up to 220volts will work with just the plug end adapter. However if it only accepts 110 you will need to purchase a voltage converter.

Have a safe trip in europe!

Why won't my screen come back on after I charged it to complete?

Its a trouble a firmware/android issue. Try charging it with an adapter that doesnt have a plugable cable USB/micro usb that gets in in the adapter, but with an adapter that ghas micro usb directly.
Have the same issue with my last phone and this fixed it. Next time charge your phone before its flat/completely empty

I will go in Italy , may I use 220 V to charge my Philishave 5825 ?

If your shaver is a 110/120 V-AC razor, you MUST use a voltage converter that will allow you to charge/use your shaver while on your trip.

I would not reccommend you attempt to use it directly, since you still would need a special cord with a plug for the different outlets in Europe.

Purchase a converter/adapter kit and you can use anything with your existing power cords, with the proper adapters in the kit, without an worries.

Have a great trip and hope you find this Very Helpful. Best regards!

Battery power died and the power cord will not charge or trun on the computer

When you plug in the adapter into the laptop a LED lights up to indicate that it is connected to the mains supply and is charging.
The adapter is faulty or the connector is not making proper electrical contact. Wriggle the connector plug to see if the charge light comes on, if it does then the loose connector needs repairing.

Check the adapter with a multi-meter, the voltage reading should be a slightly higher than the voltage that is printed on the label on the adapter. If the voltage is more than 10% below the nominated voltage then replace the adapter it is faulty.

American Tracfone Motorola C139 in Europe

I suspect that we are talking at cross purposes. Each SIm has the facility to lock/unlock; that is a security feature. Airtime providers also lock their phones, though, and that - I fear - is what you have here.

Which country are you in and which Airtime provider's SIM have you purchased? Has the SIM been activated?

I have dealt with most UK Airtime providers, Vodafone in Italy, Greece and Cyprus, plus Movistar in Spain.

Phone dead

Here's something quick to try:

Have the battery tested to see if it holds a charge (This can easily be done by using an inexpensive multimeter). Place the multimeter leads on the battery terminals (red on plus, black on minus sign). Set the multimeter to DC voltage, 0-12 VDC. Let the phone charge for 4-6 hours with the battery in. Unplug the phone & take out the battery. Test the battery as explained above - if it isn't holding a charge...then the battery's probably bad (purchase another battery).

It sounds like your're stating that the phone works only when you plug it in, so I'm assuming that the power adapter and the plug recepticle are in working order - otherwise, the phone wouldn't work.
