I think your car kit has lost its pairing data. Blue and red lights flashing alternately means it is in pairing mode. On your phone (or the device it was paired with), delete the partnership with your car kit, and make it search for new devices again. After a little while, your car kit should appear on-screen. Select it and make it connect. If a pairing code (or PIN, or passkey, or passcode) is requested, enter '0000' (four zeros).
By the way, detailed instructions on how to pair it with your phone (illustrated with pictures) can be found on its user guide; In case yours happens to be missing, you'll still be able to find it here.

Hope you are able to sort your problems out soon.
Please, let me know if I can help you any further.
Regards, Carlos

Battery failed and lights flashing?
Parking lights will flash when the vehicle's battery is disconnected and reconnected.
To stop lights from flashing, either:
Press remote transmitter "UNLOCK" button once OR turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position and press programming button for one second (see below).
The vehicle interior (courtesy) light and door open warning light (DOOR AJAR indicator) will then illuminate for 60 seconds when the ignition is turned off, or until the doors are locked with the remote transmitter. Yes, the dashboard instrument panel lights will flash when the parking lights flash.

Programming or Overriding the Alarm when you have lost the remote
Open driver's door.
Turn ignition key to 'On'
Press and *hold programming button* in (see diagram, button under dashboard)
After 15 seconds the the door locks will cycle 3 times. Do not release Programming button.
Press lock (left) button the remotes to be programmed. The door locks will cycle one time. Exit programming mode by releasing Programming button under dashboard and turning key to off.

codealarmremote1.jpgCode Alarm Programming Button is under dashboard on the kick panel by the driver's left knee, left of the steering column. If you can't find it, it might still be tucked up in the wiring harness higher up in that same general area. The botton is recessed in a plastic ring (see diagram).
This button must be pressed while programming remotes or if the battery was disconnected and the lights are flashing.

Is Blue tooth headset Plantronics Explorer 210 compatible with k790i. I got this headset recently, but am unable to pair with my Sony Ericson k790i mobile. Please help?

Your headset must be in paring mode, in order to be paired with your phone. If, after turning it on, the indicator light doesn't alternately flash in red and blue (thus indicating it is in pairing mode), it has, most probably, been paired to another phone before. In this case, turn it off, wait for the indicator light to turn red, and, then, off. Then, turn your headset on again, and hold the call button until the indicator light is flashing alternately in red and blue. Either way, make your phone's bluetooth application search for new devices. After a while, your headset should appear on-screen. Make it connect. If a pairing code (or PIN, or passkey) is requested, enter '0000' (four zeros). If the pairing process has been successful, your headset will enter the stand-by mode.
Hope it works for you.
By the way, if your headset's user guide happens to be missing, feel free to download it from this location.

Red and green lights are flashing alternatively and colour ink cartridge has run out. How do i change the cartridge?

Flashing alternately mean waste pad full. Reset using SSC utility or Adjusment program/resetter. But, you must replace cartridge before. Turn off printer, unlock carriage lock (left side of carriage at parking position). Move carriage by hand to replacement position. Replace ink tank. Reset using the resetter.
