RCA L37WD22 not receiving analog

6 mth old RCA L37WD22 suddenly stopped working yesterday. Now only comes up with "unusable signal" and will not pick up analog channels - only digital. Can this be fixed?

Is that the same as the Serial #? If so, it's H294CU04W. That's the only other number I can find!

I need the maual for this rca tv L37wd22yx6 tv just keeps saying unusable signal and i need the maual

What is the signal source for the TV? Make sure that you are on the correct input. Use the Input button on the remote. If you do not have the original remote, you need one that matches that function. (Often a Source or Input button is not available on the low end remotes.) Check that you have the signal set to Antenna or Cable if you are using the coaxial connection and the source is TV. (Menu > Setup > Channel Setup > Signal Type)

If your source is a computer, use the VGA port not the HDMI port. Computers send a different type of video signal than video set top boxes. The L37WD22 can't interpret the PC signal on the HDMI input.

For a set top box on the HDMI port, the unusable signal message indicates a communication issue. Try pressing the Info button on the remote. If you see an additional message of Acquiring Channel, then the set top box isn't responding to the remote. Check that the device is on and set up correctly to communicate with the TV. (For example, if your set top box offers progressive scan, try turning of that feature with the control for the box.)

The L37WD22 was built by TTE for the RCA label. The manual is available on the TTE support page.

The direct link to the User's Manual in English is http://support.ttetech.com/RCATV/Assets/pdfs/L37WD22_16788070_IB_e-07.pdf .

I hope this helps.

I have a LG47" tv

Your DVD audio is sent directly to your receiver - not to you TV. That's why you can hear the audio on your stereo. The TV audio is not being sent anywhere - it is "stuck" in the TV and is amplified and sent to the TV speakers. Since the TV speakers are off, you don't hear anything. In order to listen to the TV audio on the stereo system's speakers, you need to send it to the receiver.

You need to have a pair (left + right signals) of audio cables (assuming you wish to listen to stereo sound) from the TV's Audio Output jacks to a pair of Audio Input jacks on the receiver / amplifier. You can use any unused input - CD, Video, Tape, Sat, etc. If you use Tape or Sat audio inputs, when you wish to listen to the TV audio, you must select the Tape or Sat input on the receiver.

Do not send more than one signal to a set of inputs on the receiver. Typically, a CD, DVD and Sat inputs offer two or more of the following types 1) Analog audio. These are the older RCA jacks that have been around since the beginning and require separate cables for left and right channels. 2) Optical inputs. This is the newer digital interface that provides for Dolby Digital (and others) format sound over a single fiber optic cable. 3) Coaxial inputs. This jacks looks like an RCA jack, but usually has an Orange ring - instead of the Red & White rings that analog RCA jacks have. They use a single coaxial cable. 4) HDMI input. This jacks carries both digital video and digital audio signals. If you are using an Optical input for the DVD on the receiver, do not use any other unused analog or digital inputs associated with the DVD to "piggyback" another device like a CD , VHS tape, etc.

I hope this helps and good luck! Please rate my reply. Thank you.

Converter Box Problem

If you are receiving digital signal and channel is fuzzy, something wrong. Only Analog signal is fuzzy. With Digital it is great picture or nothing. For channel 6, check to see if they are broadcasting in digital yet. If they are not, this is why you are not getting a signal. If they are broadcasting in digital, then you need a stronger antenna.

Converter Box Problem

That just means that stations you can't pick up while the box is on are not broadcasting digital signals yet. Most will be after February.

Tuning to pick up sky feed

Sounds like from discription the sky feed is set up for analog channel 6. With my TV-HVR-1600 card, there is an option in the wintv application when you click the menu button in the application that says channel suite. If you select this option, you should find and option for analog source. Select analog source in this screen and you should be able to manually add channel 6 in the box at the top of the analog souce screen. Also if you have the sky feed connected and you you click the scan button on this screen, it should detect automatically is the sky feed is on.

Zone 2 Problem

Yes and no. You can get some digital signals to go to zones 2 & 3 but only PCM ones, Analogue always goes. I have a Denon DVD player connected to my 4306 with a denonlink cable. I had to connect RCA Analogue cables to the DVD input to get the sound to come out on Zone 2.
