SOURCE: Konica Minolta Magicolor 4690MF gives 0502 error.

The fuser temperature is too high. There is probably some residue from the transparency left on the thermister or the thermister went faulty that causes a wrong reading. The only solution would be to have the printer serviced.

Check the sensor for tray #2. Another remove the tray #2 check for broken acturator and or broken tabs that go into the machine to indicate the printer draw two is closed. Lift the printer off tray two use just one and bypass does that work eliminates the circuit board of the machine.

replace the black image unit and are you using third party toner if so get OEM
