N72 Backlight Hi, The backlight of my phone is not turning on. It just blinked 2-3 times yest and then went off. N since then my poor phone is in complete darkness. Solutions Plz!!!!!!!!!

if you don't see any button with bulb icons on the remotes, then I would use the table of contents of each remote manual in order to attempt to get the backlight activated when click the remote buttons.

The back light and the LED and the screen went bad and should be replaced.

green led means tv powered on and status ok.
Red blinking light almost always means defect, overcurrent or overload.
6 blinks for Sony lcd flat tv means trouble in backlight circuit, or backlight inverter (backlight illumination or lighting makes your tv screen visible).
common problems in the inverter circuit, which drives the backlight, or shorted drivers, or short-circuit transformers or open circuits.
You should find the problem in the inverter circuit, or in the power supply board or in the main board.
Also look for bad capacitors (electrolytic caps) which are bulged and swollen on top.
Decoupling plugs from printed circuit boards can help you in finding the problem board by elimination method.
If you power up the set after unplugging certain plugs on f.e. the inverter board , this could result in getting a green power led and concluding that this board is faulty.

Check for any loose soder points or loose connections with wiring sockets to backlight inverter board.

I did this last year for my girlfriends laptop backlight problem and it was a free courier both ways and was repaired within 2 weeks (new part required). No cost to you.

Otherwise, sorry I dont know how to fix it.

the HTC needs to be reflash to correct this issue...so take the phone to a mobile service center to have that done or try sourcing it online.

Have you checked your settings? Maybe you accidentally, or unknowingly turned off the lighting.

You wanted to turn off permanently the backlighting on your IPod Nano? Your player uses that backlighting in order for users to see the display during poor lighting conditions.
If you really wanted to switch it off, you can access the backlighting settings on your player; Select Setting then go to Backlight Timer, Choose the option that suite your need
(Always On, Off, Turn off after a period of time between 2 and 20 seconds) or you can press and hold the Menu button down to toggle the backlight on your player to on or off.

exchange the phone for a new one.........see if that corrects the issue
