My flash dive is not work pc is not recognize it

Windows XP, Vista , or Windows 7 should be able to automatically detect and install it. Try using it on another computer that has either Windows XP, Vista , or Windows 7 on it. If it doesn't automatically detect and install it on that one then the flashdrive is dead.

If you have an older operating system then go here to download the driver:

My HP 4GB pen drive seems to be malfunctioned, it shows a message while attaching it, that "the device attached to the computer is malfunctioned, windows cannot reconize this device" What...

Hi,
Trying attaching to a different USB port or different computer. If still the problem is not solved try formatting the USB PEN drive using HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool. If still not ok, then may be its a hardware issue with the PEN drive.
If its under warranty, try for a replacement.

Sandisk Cruzer 8gb Error

Make sure you are logged in as an administrator. I'd also try the thumb drive in a different computer just to make sure the problem isn't with the thumb drive itself. The drive could also be unformatted, or formatted with a filesystem for a different platform that can't be read by XP.

try removing off the launchpad program from the pen drive through an XP system with this software and then try inserting it on the vista as an ordinary pen drive.

Sandisk flash drive

Is the account that your tying to access the drive with an Administrator account? If not, Log in as Administrator and try to access the new drive. If you ARE using Administrator privileges on the vista machine, the problem lies in the U3 smart driver. Try downloading and installing the drivers for the XP SP2 os on scan disks website, If vista rejects the install package off of the scan disk website, let me know and i'll extract the drivers and build an install for them for you.

Vista has not been out long enough for any company to state that there product is compatible. I would check there website to see if they have updated drivers that will make the sandisk usb drive compatible. This may fix the problem!
