Motorola slvr phone, i forgot my four digit password.

Default 4 Digit user code: 1234 or 0000
Default 6 Digit Security code: 123456 or 000000

type *#06# on your phone to get it.

Hold menu button (above directional keys not in centre of directional keys). many people get confused in the 2 buttons as both act as menu button.
Hold it for 3-4 seconds, u will not see any reaction. But when u try to write code, the slot for four digits change to six digits.
Type 000000(six zero) at that slot. OK !!!!
and u will bypass the security code.

this is common problem of mobile user. for this problem u can format ur memory card from pc which pc no virus affected. then insert ur memory card in ur phone and reformat it from phone. hope become ok, thanks.

This is not a solution ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,try this it always work .

first install motorola USB driver u will found this at http://slvr.themotoguide.com/getconnected.php go through the tutorial and get connected , remember in ur phone USB settings = data/fax connection

Rest is the child's game download Motokit.zip, u will find it in above site then start motokit .........on top click mobile then INFO .it will show u the ur unlock code plus security code n ur imei no etc finished

1) When u r asked for code/password, there is a blank space for four digits. ONly 4 digits can be type there.
2) HOld menu button ( above the directional keys button ) for 3-4 seconds.
3) if u press more than 3-4 sec., u hv failed the trick so hold button for only required time.
4) So after u hold menu button for 3-4 seconds, type 000000 (six zeros). (U can type six digits at that time.)
5) Now u hv bypass the security code.

Hey rajbhavan,
Listen up.
- When u r standby mode or desktop of ur mobile,
just press and hold menu button( in the top middle above control keys) until a message "shortcut not allowed for this item" appears.
- Now, leave it and ur code request which was for 4 digit has changed into 6 codes request.
- Type 000000 (six 0s).
- Now ur code is changed, type new code for ur mobile.

Your phone’s 4-digit unlock code is originally set to 1234.

The 6-digit security code is originally set to 000000.
If your service provider didn’t change these codes, you should change them:

Find it: Press - > Settings > Security > New Passwords

If you forget your unlock code: At the Enter Unlock Code prompt,

try entering 1234 or the last four digits of your phone number. If that doesn’t work, press - and enter your 6-digit security code instead.

If you forget other codes: If you forget your security code, SIM PIN code, PIN2 code, or call barring password, contact your service provider.

you can call your carrier and they can give you an unlock code for it.
