well it does not like the A4 sized paper for 3 reasons/
1; A4 paper not there.
2: the sensors there A4 are bad or just dirty.
3: or the software for printer is corrupted , reload it?
printers love to fail that is what the love to do, google it. see billion hits for 50 years deep. Love to fail
so a wise owner does a full cleaning of the printer print pathes
and all sensors blown clean with (shop air or CAN-O-AIR)
or calls for service, locally'
The problem is with the "Automatic Paper Size Sensor" / APS sensors, which are located near LENS / CCD UNIT, under the platen glass. If you can open and remove the platen glass by yourself then open it and clean the APS sensors with soft cloth damped with alcohol. If the problem is still there, then please go to the service mode of your photocopier machine.
(Press "Utility/Counter"
then
press "Check Details" > STOP > 0 > 0 > STOP > 0 > 1, for service mode)
When you are in service mode then go to "System 1" and then into "Marketing Area" , When you are in this option, select marketing area "US" and then press "OK" . Now exit from the service mode and place A4 original on platen glass and check the size showing in the display.
Do not worry whatever size is showing, you will get your complete copy. Now press start button to make copies. When you will make a copy you will get your complete print out.No print area will be missing.
Best of Luck!
Hi The A4 paper size is an internationally used paper format. Although not often used in America, it is by far the most commonly and widely circulated paper size. At 8 1/4 inches by 11 3/4 inches, it is similar though not quite identical to the American standard U.S. letter size, which is 8 1/2 inches by 11 inches. Because of its ubiquity, all printers and programs have the ability to handle the size, and getting a printer to print to it is a matter of adjusting the settings.Put the A4 sized paper into the automatic feeder in the printer. You may have to adjust the tray guides to fit the paper in snugly. Close the tray firmly when finished.
Step 2.Set the printer to register the A4 sized paper inside the the tray. This varies from printer to printer but generally involves going into the print menu, scrolling to the automatic feeder and designating the tray as an A4 tray.Step 3.Select "File" and then "Page setup" in the program you are using.Step 4.lick on the drop down menu next to paper size and choose "A4.Step 5.Select "File" and then "Print." Click the "Print Summary" button to ensure the file is set to print to the A4 size.
pls set the paper size to the actual paper size you load.. you have probably selected legal size in your pc and load an A4 size paper onto the printer...

What country are you from ???? here in the US we do not use A4.
Only Legal Letter, check the size of the paper you are using and check the trays to make sure it is set correctly.
