Make sure the battery is charged - it will not provide good combustion.

Next - make sure the plunger is fully depressed - there is an adjustment on the side.

Finally - check for proper operation of the trigger.

Paslode 350 wont fire nail, gas new,fan works, have spark what to check next

The primary cause of a Paslode not firing is from a dirty combustion chamber. Try cleaning it with Paslode cleaner and as long as you have good fuel, good spark, and the fan works, it should fire.

I have a pasload im 250 ii straight finish nailer when I pull the trigger the motor runs with out the tip being pressed is this normal and when I press the tip and pull the trigger it does not fire

Yes, it is normal for the fan to run when the trigger is pulled. Does the fan start when you depress the nose?
If not, it most likely is a bent contact element, or a bad head switch.

Paslode

Make sure that you dry the top of the motor housing and connections.Make sure that the piston is up as far as it can go.
When you depress the nose against the work the motor should run and if you look at the flashing light on the side it will stay constantly on and momentarily flash when you pull the trigger. If it goes red then check the battery is charged otherwise there coiuld be a fault with the motor.
Is the inlet Valve facing the correct way with the bottom of the "V" facing down into the machine.
Check the date of the gas, make sure it is not out of date.
Is the gas cold? warm the cylinder up by putting it in your trouser pocket for 10 min. Paslode make winter gas for these cold days.

Fan is constantly

I deal with more paslodes but think Its the same concept... Theres a button/switch on the trigger and back cap... the back cap one turns on the fan when the tool is depressed and the trigger one fires the spark to ignite the gas.
Seems like the one on the back cap at the rear of the cylinder is stuck on.... or theres a problem with the circuit board

Paslode 900420 it runs and I get spark but it doesn't fire. the cylinder is clean and its a new fuel cell. Do the spark plugs often go bad?

no they don't, where do you get the spark from?? you can test this tool with the cylinder off by depressing the roller lever and holding the switch in the on position. If there is fire across the gap it should work and then I would look to make sure the safety is fully depressing. If this is the one with o rings you might want to check them for wear. Also look at the expiration date on the fuel cell, it is on the bottom and if expired could cause a problem.

IM250 not firing.

I know this post is old, but nothing worked for me until I tried the following.

little plastic triangle pin that fuel cell tip plugs into was somehow plugged in to far. pull that out, plug in gently, retry nailer.

Gun not firing batt charge, new gas, fan goes just not firing

could be a couple things, first are there nails in the magazine, this tool has a stop when low on nails it won't fire, second is the lower probe bent not allowing full push on the cylinder to load gas. Give me the model number and I will find a print or you can go to Paslode.com and type in the model number and get an owners manual that has a trouble shooting guide in it for help. Let me know and if I have helped you with your question would you please rate this response accordingly.
