I have a Lenovo 3000 H Series Computer. Recently I format my system. i have no driver CD for WIN XP. I need audio driver of this series. please tell me how can i find or install the audio driver.

I have had this problem before. If you recently installed another operating system on your computer and you did not back up your audio driver then you must not have one for the operating system you are currently running. For the Lenovo 3000 J series PC desktop you should have the ADI Soundmax audio driver for windows XP. The solution is to download the driver and then install it on your computer. Restart and then it should work. To download the drivers: Visit the Lenovo website Go to support Find your product Go to downloads and drivers Download the ADI soundmax audio driver

I use always XP SP2, Vista & Win 7 are brain dead for older hardware, drivers etc, XP SP2 always works, maybe SP3, sometimes.

You can get your drivers by completing this small wizard at the Lenovo site.

All you need to put in is the type of system, you have Desktop - the 3000 series and which branch of the "H2 series you have - your operating system XP/Vista etc and you are done...

Download windows xp drivers from HERE

Try to boot a different cd, to determine whether the drive is bad or if the cd is bad. If it is the drive, you can try cleaning it or replacing it. If it is the XP cd, borrow one fro a friend and use your license, which should be on you unit.

The drivers could be down loaded from the Lenovo/IBM web site.
