Installed Delta 16955-SSSD Stainless Steel Victorian Single Handle Kitchen 16955-SSSD a couple months ago. About a couple weeks ago experienced low flow for about 4 hours then started working fine. Now have low flow for about 3 days. I have cleaned the screen and it didn't fix problem. Other water pressure in the house is fine. Any suggestions?

Remove spay head from the end of the sprayer hose and turn the water on. If you have good pressure without the head, call Delta and ask for a new spray head. If you still have low water pressure without the spray head attached, call Delta and ask for a new ceramic disc cartridge free.

Water is lukewarm, not hot.

If the lukewarm temp is only at one place; for example kitchen , but hot in the bathroom, the problem is with the plumbing in the kitchen. If water is lukewarm throughout the house or apartment, the problem is either the hot water heater, or the mixing valve that is just down-stream of the hot water heater. (If there is a mixing valve installed; there often is not one.)

Delta faucet #467-DST. The last couple of weeks my kitchen faucet doesn.t want to turn back and forth easily. I thought it might be a kink in the sprayer hose. Help

There are two rubber o rings under the spout, one at the top and one on the bottom, Remove the handle then the nut that you will see that is in contact with the spout. Rock the spout left to right and pull up at the same time. You then can replace the O rings and make sure you put some food grade lub on the O rings. Replace all that you took off and you are god to go.

best of luck Rich

I think that the aerator/water restrictor is clogged. The water comes out like a snakes tongue. I cannot figure out how to remove and clean it. It is a Delta kitchen faucet #417-SSwf. Thank you...

there should be a special wrench that came with the faucet. i have included a link to a web site that has a parts breakdown for the faucet. it shows the wrench and how it all comes apart. about in the middle it says additional info. there is the parts diagram link.

I have a Delta kitchen faucet model #467-SSSD-DST. The cold water flow and/or pressure is not adequate. The flow and pressure from the hot water side is fine. What may I do to fix my cold water problem?

Hi,
Take the handle off (set screw underneath)
Then turn the top off under the handle....make sure water is off...
then you will find a ball with the handle stem on it....note the position of it and pull it out...
under there are two wets of springs and rubber seats...
pull the right side out and check the hole for a blockage...(dirt or rust)
if none is visible, you may have to unhook the cold water supply hose
and then blow compressed air back through the hole to remove the blockage...
then reassemble...

I hope this will help please go to this web site for a downloadable parts link. If it is leaking from the spout replace the seats and springs to correct the problem. Turn water off and remove handle with a 1/8" allen wrench and remove retaining collar to access the ball assembly to remove the seats and springs.

The parts page on this link will give you a break down and hope this will help.

It sounds like the cartridge is going or is possibly loose, If you take the handle off you can try to GENTLY tighten the cartridge and see if that fixes the leak. You don't have to tighten it a lot to see if it will stop; if you over tighten you can cause the housing to split and you don't want to strip the cartridge head because you may have to remove it. Use a proper set of channel locks and apply some gentle pressure if it turns and the leak stops, great! if it doesn't then the cartridge has failed and needs replacing. Your Delta faucet is covered by a limited lifetime warranty so the part should be free. Here is the warranty and the contact information to order one.

If you are not comfortable dealing with plumbing issues I would highly recommend calling a licenced plumber. The part is free so its simply the plumbers time.
Good luck.

Swing arm too loose

What I have doen in the past is to take the compression nut off. Wrap teflon plumbing thread tape around and between the two o rings and tinghened the compression nut back down, tightening the worn swing arm joint.
