My fishfinder 565, just suddenly stoped working. We were in the boat and all of a sudden it went dark. Can there be a fuse of somekind that could be replaced?

Yes, generally there is an inline fuse on the hot (red) wire. it is incased in a white sleeve that twists apart and reveals the fuse. if its not the fuse check the battery or connections to the back of the depth finder.

I would imagine it might have something to do with water turbulance? Do you have a sensor thats located at the bottom of the boat somewhere? In my grandpas boat, the sensor is at the rear bottom near the hole where you can drain the water, if your going very fast it doesnt work very well, slow or stopped and it works fine. If you have that type of sensor make sure whatever holds it is tight so the sensor cant move around.

either that or you got some funky wiring issue lol

1992 alumaweld dash board went out, fuses all good but test light shows nothing

Their may be a loose wire that you missed somewhere. You'd probobly want to take it to a repair shop.

Hello- I have a Hummingbird 550 fishfinder who suddenly isn't reading depth, fish or the correct temperature. I have looked at all the settings, wires hooked up to it and have disconnected and...

Check the transducer for cracks or large amounts of growth. Also make sure the transducer is still in the correct position as when installed. Next check the entire length of the cable to make sure there are no breaks, kinks, or stress points.
If you have to send it back for service MAKE SURE YOU BACK UP ALL OF YOUR DATA AS IT CAN BE RETURNED BLANK!

I have a fishfinder Hummibird 565, I use it on a big fishing boat which is impossible to fix the sensor on the bottom of the boat, so I tried to hang it on the boat with a float, but it cannot work well,...

you can get a specialist to come and fix/reapply the sensor to the boat and possibly fix it if it is broken var fctb_tool=null; function FCTB_Init_4fdf0f4e4d1b403489dd188ff9311fa0(t) { fctb_tool=t; start(fctb_tool); } FCTB_Init_4fdf0f4e4d1b403489dd188ff9311fa0(document['FCTB_Init_3475a15565eb478ea69972d3c6d88377']); delete document['FCTB_Init_3475a15565eb478ea69972d3c6d88377'] var fctb_tool=null; function FCTB_Init_a70c5362962d40be976e65b2158646e3(t) { fctb_tool=t; start(fctb_tool); } FCTB_Init_a70c5362962d40be976e65b2158646e3(document['FCTB_Init_379c2b6472d1424f847e6d43703fa3ad']); delete document['FCTB_Init_379c2b6472d1424f847e6d43703fa3ad']

Hello, my Humminbird 565 startred to misread the tempereture, when stoped or in low speed it show the water temp 10º c bellow the real temp. The same happens in Fº. The sounder otherwie works...

More than likely you have your sensor run underneath the boat and therefore the sensor is directly in the water. When you speed around the hot water on top is what your sensor is picking up, when you slow, you are allowing the sensor to pick up on the colder water just inches below the surface

Horn just stoped working

Check your fuses first, the check your connections at the horn button and at the horn its self. All else fails take two pieces of wire hook one to the pos. and one to the neg. on your battery and test the horn that way to see if that is the horn went out.

Humminbird 7300211 speed unit

Hi!
Installation of the speed/temp wheel is quite easy, here's a manual:
SW Speed & Temp
The new sensor cable plugs into the square plugin in back of your Humminbird....it's the small square connector with 4 holes.
Best of luck!
