I do believe you have faulty electronical components in your phone. That is likely due to bad capacitors as I stated before which will need to be tested with a meter.

I tried the MNfisherman "recipe" twice but it did not solve the problem. The handset still displays "S/C Invalid" and also, it "sqeaks" with a shrill noise when I lift it from the base. Please do NOT send me further input if there is an additional charge. Also you did NOT reply to my complaint that you offered me advice for a discounted $5 BUT charged my VISA for $10. Any answer for that?
