I have a 64-bit laptop operating in Windows Home Premium. I'd like to use the starter cd v2.0, however I don't want to screw up my computer. Is there a download compatible for my laptop to use my hp deskjet 1220c?

You will have to download ISO image of Windows 7 Home Premium, 64bits, burn it to a cd, then boot from cd to get to the repair mode.

If you have the cd key or serial key of your Vista Home Premium 64 bit then jus go to the microsoft website and download from there.

Use System restore.

64-BIT PROGRAMS runs on 64-BIT OPERATING SYSTEMS

The 64-BIT Processor has nothing to do with it, it serves a different purpose specifically, to the OPERATING SYSTEM.
