You have a dodgy connection in the wiring, probably at the fuse box or may be the fuse itself is loose or dirty. When all is working, grab the wires near the fuse box in different places and tug them firmly, if the problem happens on one tug, look closer at those wires. Then when it is all working spray the bike with water from a hose, concentrate on small areas at a time until you find an area the cuts the lights.

Depends what you mean by no video.
If the screen is white and washed out, it could be your T-Con board.
If the screen is black, turn the lights off in the room and look for any glow from the screen. If you see glowing, then the backlight is working and your problem is the video/main board.
Shine a flashlight or other strong light on the screen to see if you see any faint images in the screen, if you see images, then your backlight circuit is gone.

The CPU may be shutting down because it is over heating.
If you are notusing your laptop on a flat surface, it may be obstructing the cooling vents onthe bottom of the laptop. Your laptop fanmay be faulty and not spinning freely, in this case replace the fan.
Check the fan and heat sink assembly and remove the dust, loosen the dust anduse a can of compressed air to clear away the dust. A laptop fanassisted cooling pad may solve your problem

Did you determine the cause of your battery going dead in the first place? Did you hook the cables to your battery correctly? What is happening in your car now?

Several things might have happened. I can only speculate from the limited information you gave. You could have had a short under the dash which caused the battery to discharge in the first place. You could have hooked the booster cables up backwards. If you will post additional comments, I will try to help you further. Out of curiousity, have you recently installed a new stereo system or amplifier?

The most likely culprit is your inverter. Most black or dark screens are caused by a faulty inverter. In rare cases (about 10%) the screen or backlight needs to be replaced.

You have a bad earth problem. Reccomend check sender unit in tank. Guage wire is Yellow with a green trace.
