I had played DVDs on it fine before. 4 days ago, i used it to play an audio CD and it's fine too. However, yesterday, i switched it to play a regular DVD, and only sounds come out, no picture. What's the problem? I'm wondering whether it recognizes it's DVD format after playing the audio CD.

The issue might be that you could be missing some codes to play the dvds.
First i want to uninstall all the codecs from the control panel - add/remove programs.
Then download the latest vesion of klite codec pack with the player.
The link is :

Install this by selecting "lots of stuff" with the player.
Then play your DVD, it will work fine.

Thanks for your information, but the problem is I couldn't even get anything displayed on the screen!! So, i can't see the control panel, menu options, etc..
Also, this is a portable DVD player, i am afraid that the programs installed in it is different from a regular DVD player.
Any more ideas??
