SOURCE: Stainless panel for Kenmore 3631532 dishwasher?

I have two options for you to consider. One is to take your panel to any sheet metal fabricating shop and have them make a stainless steel version for you. The other is to get a spray can of stainless steel appliance paint and apply it. i have used the stainless steel paint on entire appliances with excellent results.

SOURCE: kitchenaid dishwasher, control panel is not

I don't know your technical ability, but there is a fuse located next to the control board inside the console, this is a good place to start. Kitchen Aid is good about putting tech sheets on the back of the kickplate and it should have wiring and diagnostic info there. Just be sure to put the sheets back so the next service tech to work on it will have them :)

The "clean light" is flashing

Indicates control hasn't sensed a rise in water temp during heat cycle. Make sure you hear the water being circulated during wash cycle. If so the heater, control board, thermostats or wiring are most likely bad. If heater, therms, and wiring check good its usually the control. When fixed press Heat dry- Normal-heat dry-Normal or High temp- air dry-high temp- air dry to reset control.

The clean light flashes clean, seven times. I can reset the machine, but the problem persists. How do I determine if it is the heating element?

Kitchen Aid models with the stainless steel tanks flashing clean light requires changing out both the heating element and the electronic control due to a change in voltage on the heating elements. By ordering the heating element, it comes with the electronic control. For your particular model it is a part #8194200. Just shop around to the different parts stores online, to get the best price. This will fix your problem.

My KitchenAid dishwasher will not run. Start light is blinking

Make sure the controls are not locked. Some units have the ability to lock the controls so that kids cannot turn on the dishwaher. You can also try unpugging the power to the unit from under the sink for about 10 minutes and then plug it back in. This may reset the control board if it has a fault and stopped from error code.

"Normal" light flashes

You need a new control bd. #W10084141. If the diagnostic mode will not work then the board will have to be replaced.
