U may type ur mail id wrong if not the password is wrong,if id is right u change ur password by clicking 'i cant access my account' in yahoomaill and do as yahoo suggests

had the same problem starting Aug 11, 2010 - mid day. It is strange. I've reported it to yahoo, and they are taking a long time. I've had my account for more than 10 years. It is something on their end for sure.

Yahoo Mail has been having intermittant service problems today. They say the problem has now been fixed. Try clearing your cache and cookies and trying again.

Remember some Passwords and most Captcha codes are case sensitive and require you to use both upper case and lower case as well as numbers. If even one letter is wrong you will be turned down.

I've got several ideas to try to get around "Invalid ID or password. Please try again."
  • Set your CAPS LOCK key correctly. Passwords are case sensitive. Be sure to keep this in mind when entering your password.
  • Wait up to 24 hours. If you recently requested a new password or changed your password, this allows your account to update.
  • Sign in with the correct Yahoo! ID. Make sure that you are using the correct Yahoo! ID when signing in to your account. If you forgot your Yahoo! ID, you can search for your Yahoo! ID online.
  • Delete your cookie files. A cookie is a small piece of information stored by your browser that helps identify you. If your cookie isn't being accepted correctly, you'll be logged out of your account as soon as you move to a different page.
    To delete your cookies, close all browser windows, find the "cookies" directory, and delete the cookie files inside. How cani unlock my yahoo account
Please follow the steps below:

1. Go here
2.Put your ID and password press sign in.
3.Reply webpage that login page will open again saying Invalid ID or Password
4.Now put your ID and Password correctly as well as put the captcha word as shown exactly in image
5.press Sign in now.

You will be done.
