tap the screen and see if any changes happends.if not, you need a new display.on rough impact such issues usually apears....sorry for my english

KODAK does not sell spare parts.
If you would like to attampt to change the LCD yourself make sure the cam is OoW. since the manufactors warranty doesn't cover if non authorised KODAK TECH attempts to repair.

You might be able to find a faulty V1003 on sale on the Net and use this for spear parts.

An OoW. repair for a V1003 though KODAK is 88,07 pounds. But KODAK does offer a Trade up option where you for a favorable price can exchange your faulty camera for a brand new camera for a favorable price.

yaa it happens due to EPROM Programming error try to reset it if possible or else take immediately to its repairing center.

unfortunately it would appear to be a CCD or main board failure.
If the camera is out of warranty (as this should be covered) my best suggestion is to pick up one off ebay with a broken screen and put your screen in it, broken screens are common on these cameras so they go quite cheaply, far cheaper than kodak would charge for repair and the swap is easy.
There are several searchs to try "parts v1003" "spares v1003" "Faulty v1003" "repair v1003"

Sirs I have a Kodak easy share v1003 showing the screen completely white. How can I replace it... seems that I already find the spare part in e-bay. Can I do this replacement by mayself?
