It can be the voltage regulator that's in the control box or most likely the rectifier in the back side of the gen head it looks like a 1 inch by 1 inch by 3/8 inch black cube with 4 wire posts on it with a hole in the middle for mounting these will go bad in time and are currently avail in electronics stores even radio shack has them make a diagram and mark the wires to where they go on it and mark the rectifier as well they can be cross ref to newer ones as well their just a couple bucks get a spare to have do to a older machine this part is not in the catalog of the manufacture and un avail from them yet they are other places hope this helps

Coleman powermate 3750 wont start

Check your oil level and add a little if it's low. Don't overfill. Also, make sure the unit is level. You may want to change the spark plug. Depending on the hours you've used it or the length of time since you've used it may have taken a toll on the plug.
Beyond that, have a professional look at it.
Good luck!

Need a qualified seviceman to trouble shoot coleman model pm401211 ( keep loosing battery )

Your battery charge rectifier is not working. Measure the input voltage going into the rectifier. Should be around 30Vac. If voltage is present then you rectifier is bad.
