If your warranty isn't invalid, send your wii to Nintendo company.*
If they find something wrong with it, they will attempt to fix it, if they
cannot fix it, they send you a new wii.

*Costs $85, but it's better than paying for a new one. Also, if a disc is stuck in the wii, request a new disc with a letter beforehand.

Wii doesn't work after a month

It is best if you return it for a warranty repair or replacement in this case as any attempt to repair or open this unit will void your warranty.

It should be under a 1-3 year warranty for your type of product so you should be safe returning this item unless it was purchased second hand.

My wii will not come on at all. We been using it but it has just stopped working. Any suggestions?

Try switching video cables first, and if this does not fix your problem then try switching TVs. If neither of these solve your problem, then the console's board needs repair. Contact Nintendo to see if your console is still under warranty.

If the unit is not under warranty, visit www.wiredextreme.com or call toll free 1-888-389-3038. We are a console repair company based in Texas, and can get your Wii up and running in no time. All of our repairs come with a standard 90 day warranty that covers the entire console, not only our repairs. Extended warranties are also available at additional cost.

I have audio but no video on my wii . is the game toasted ? do i need to send it in ? i had a storm here and some of the av jacks arent working on the tv it was hooked to . ive hooked the wii to other tv's...

  1. Have you tried another set of AV Cables. If you had a storm it could have potentially damaged the cables. Try a different set first. Borrow some from a friend if possible!
  2. If #1 doesn't fix your issue, try HD Component Cables. Maybe the AV ports on the Wii got damaged.
  3. If you are under warranty and #1 or #2 don't work then it's time to setup a warranty claim with Nintendo. Consumer Assistance Hotline at 1-800-255-3700
  4. If you aren't covered under warranty, I can offer to repair the unit for you, but it from you AS IS, or you could sell it AS IS for parts/repair on eBay or Craigslist

Sony plasma KDL 4632010

It can be fixed by replacing the screen. The impact from the Wii contoler caused and internal compression. It is pushing the liquid away from that area. You can check with a local repair shop to see if they do LCD replacements, or can file a warranty claim with the manufacturer. Most of the time they will send a sub contractor out to repair your set in home. He will confirm the problem, contact the manufacturer and they will tell him to fix it, or not to fix it. The worst case scenario is that you will have to pay the tech for the in home call if the manufacturer decides not to cover the damage.

My wii says "unable to read disc" on all disc's used.

Microsoft Xbox have some common problem like red lights, E74 and Disc Read Error. Microsoft is providing extended warranty for red lights problem, Means you will have to spend some money in order to get this problem repaired from Microsoft also you will have to wait for 3-4 weeks to get your Xbox back. There are many reasons disc read error can occur in your Xbox like your disc might not be clean, laser might also be dirty and many more common problem. I would suggest you to first clean out the disc, you are using. If that don't solve the problem you can also take the help of DIY guide available at Internet. I think you have got good no. of options to get your Xbox repaired, Choice is yours.
