Please my memory card I passworded I can no longerv access. It now has a padlock attached to it and contineously request password to open it. I have tried the password I used but each time it says it is incorrect. Please how can I gain access or reformat the memory card for my usage?
You need to connect your memory card to your computer.
If you are using a micro SD to SD converter you should make sure that it is not in lock position.
Once you have connected it to your computer
Go to start/run/ and type cmd to open command prompt
use in comm
and prompt
format Z:\ /X /FS:FAT
replace Z with your memory card drive letter

If u have locked your MicroSD in a S40 phone(5300,5200), and the phone is formatted or not available(physically), then THERE IS NO WAY YOU CAN GET YOUR DATA !!!
NOTE: But card can be used after formating !!!!
SOLUTION: To format the card you need a Memory Card Flasher.
Buying it is not a wise decision, as you won't be gettin into the same problem again and again. So carry it(the mem. card) to a Cell phone repairing shop, who has a flasher, they'll do it for you.It'll tak 10 to 15 minutes to format a card(for 1GB). They may charge anything between 50(INR) to 150(INR), depending on how dumb he thinks you are! I got it done for 80 bucks(due to my impatience)@ National Market, Bangalore, India.
I didn't give it in Nokia(they might be having the flasher) as those @$$#0!^& take a week to do these simple things

hi,since there's no software to recover this,its not possible for you to get the password,the only thing you can do is to reformat the memory card,but this will make you lose your datas or files in the memory card.thanks,you are welcomed.
