I experienced problems with my flash disk as it kept on telling me that files i had copied to it were corrupt, some times it ended up with empty folders when i had in fact copied folders with items in them onto the flash.IConsequently, i went to the disk's properties and ran error checking, this failed to complete. When i removed the flash disk and put it back again it just reflected Removable Disk(E:), when i try to open the disk it keeps on telling me to insert disk into drive E:.Way forward???????
Th pc can not formate it
The solution and its work.... i just do it 5 min ago.. i got the same problem as you.
1/ take off the usb from is plastic (then he will look like a small hard drive)
2/ put it in the freezer 10-20 min
3/ put your usb to your computer
4/ copy all files you need
5/ you can buy a new usb
ps: you can reapeat the think 3-5 times is depend on your usb device....
see ya
Try to rerfresh on MY COMPUTER then it will appear on E, if it won't open, right click then Explore.
One way to avoid this problem is not to save data that is equal to or more than the flash disk capacity.
