Does it have a micro USB charger/charging port? This was the universal charging adapter most manufacturers other than Apple moved to around 5 years ago. In my experience, the charging port to charger connection can become loose and prevent charging....especially if you use the tablet or phone during charging. The best method I have found to troubleshoot the issue is to try a charger that successfully charges another device and plug it into the tablet or phone. If your device still does not charge, and especially if the connection is loose, it is most likely that your charging port is damaged. Another possible issue would be the battery itself but the charger or charging port is the most likely culprit for your issue.
Charging issues is a process of elimination. First the charger....many chargers will fit but not all that fit will work. A bluetooth charger will fit but would never charge your battery completely. Make sure you are using a proper charger. 2nd is the charging port on the phone. If the charger is loose it could be a bad port or the prongs on the charger are not holding....is it loose? Or if there is corrosion on the port. If corrosion, clean with alcohol and tooth brush. 3rd is the battery. If its swollen, then it's toast. A li-on battery will start to decrease after 400 to 500 charges.
Phone not charging. Hello, when a phone does not charge, it means that the phone charger or the port at which the charger is inserted in the phone is faulty.
Might be due to dust or dirt. You can Clean charging port on the phone with a brush and alcohol to remove dirt.
After cleaning it,if still not charging, you can test charger with another phone to be sure if the charger is working. And if charger works with another phone, that means the charging port on the phone is faulty and will need to replaced.
I had a similar problem when I was using my computer cable for convenience. I asked my stepdad, since he's an very computer smart and he told me the computer cord is not for charging and when I switched back to the wall charger it was fine. You'll just have to go buy a wall charger.
there are 2 possible reasons for the problem u mentioned..
either ur phone charger port or its internal connection is defected
or ur charger circuit or wire orits pin is the problem
you can find it by connecting ur phone with system using usb data cable..if it charges then ur charger kit is to replaced..else u must service ur phone
This worked for me........Plug in the charger, and then wrap the cord around the phone tightly! But no too tight or the whole damn thing will fly out (this happened to me)
May be a loose wire on the charger. If USB charging works fine, then replace the charger. If USB charging doesn´t solve the problem, get a new battery for the phone.
