Hi
I must have pressed the wrong button because the watch doesn't beep anymore when I press a button. I can not find anything about it in the manual.
Richard
Does the alarm work? if not, it is quite likely the battery is low. You can tape it up in a window to recharge the battery for a couple of days, direct sunlight is not necessary. Normally "Recovering" flashes. If the battery has been depleted for too long, it is possible the battery is now damaged and may need to be replaced.
As for settings, try pressing both buttons on the right side simultaneously in various modes, especially settings or alarm modes and see if that turns back on the beep. Perhaps press the upper left button for 5 seconds until various options start flashing, then try double right button presses and see what happens.

To turn off the hourly beep on a Mingrui sports watch, you can try the following steps:
Press and hold the "Mode" button until the watch enters the settings menu.
Use the "Adjust" button to navigate to the "Beep" or "Alarm" option.
Press the "Adjust" button to turn off the hourly beep.
Press the "Mode" button to exit the settings menu.
Please note that these steps may vary depending on the specific model of Mingrui sports watch you have. It's recommended to refer to the user manual for your specific watch for detailed instructions.
Make sure the watch is facing the correct way. Put the watch on your wrist as you normally would, or pick it up by the strap with your left hand. You should see that the Nike swoosh is right side up. You should be able to read the time.
Find the left side of the watch. This will be your left when the watch is facing you correctly the same way that you would look at it to read the time. You will see at least two buttons. One will be labeled "mode" and the other will be labeled "set."
Press the "mode" button. Press the "mode" button. Continue to press the "mode" button until you have scrolled through the options and are on the correct setting. The correct setting should be "time."
Hold down the "set" button. You should see the currently set time on your watch and the hour should be flashing. You should see a plus sign (+) and a minus sign (-). If your current time says three (for example) and you want to read five, press the button that corresponds with the plus sign. If you want to go backwards, press the button that corresponds to the minus sign. When you are finished hit next.
Change the minutes. Now the minutes should be flashing. Repeat step four: press the button that corresponds with the plus sign to increase the minutes. Press the button that corresponds to the minus sign to decrease the minutes. Hit "next" when you are finished.
Hit "done." Congratulations, you have now successfully set the time on your Nike watch. Now your watch should read the correct time. If you want to get really crazy, you can repeat the steps above to change the date on your Nike watch.
if your 1440 timex watch has a set button, press and hold it until some of the digits blinks and the one that blinks can be adjusted. but if your watch doesn't have a "set" button, press and hold the "mode" and it turns to 0 00 press it again and the time blinks and you can set it. if you like most accurate solution please give me the model no. of your timex watch. thanks!
I know it's been a year since this question was asked, but I was trying to find the answer today and finally figured it out. I thought I would answer for someone else.
I have a sportek SP1020ZEL. Pressing mode first and then alarm did not work for me. Pressing mode first on my watch only put it into the stopwatch mode, and then pressing the alarm button is for reseting the stopwatch. So I tried it the other way around, and it worked.
First, press and HOLD the alarm button (bottom right button) and then the mode button (bottom left button). My sportek doesn't show a little bell symbol, but I noticed that with one press all the days of the week showed and when I pressed again all the days disappeared. So I waited for the hour and found that when there is no days of the week visible the hourly chime is off. I don't think this works with all sportek watches but it is worth a try. (I did not try holding all the buttons for 5 seconds).
Press the center button marked "T". The watch should beep once;- Touch the center of the touch-sensitive face until 24H Cm appears in the digital LCD display; - Press and hold the center button marked "T" for approx. 5 seconds. The watch will beep once and then again a second time, after 5 seconds have passed. The digital LCD display should now read SYNCHRO; - Press the upper button marked "+" to move the minute hand until it is positioned exactly at 12:00; - Press the lower button marked "-" to move the hour hand until it is also positioned exactly at 12:00; - When both hands are aligned together and pointing directly at 12:00, press the center button marked "T" to save your settings. - Your watch is now synchronized, so no expensive repair work is required!
I have the answer how to stop the hourly beeping on watch f91w you press c button on left bottom and right button at same time as pressing left bottom button and that will remove the alarm pic at top and it will then turn off the hourly beeping. About the watch f91w.
Hi as far as I know this watch model only beeps when you are configuring time and when you want to go back to time mode from any other one (chrono, world time or alarm mode) by pressing left lower buttom for a few seconds. It only beeps if you have set the alarm. It does not have light either. Hope this clarify. Rafael
