Hi

Dishwasher not draining issue usually occurs due to kinked drain pipe, clogged drain filter or drain pump. Check the drain hose for any visible clogging, remove if present. If no visible lint is present then remove then turn off the dishwasher and remove the drain hose and check for any visible clogging. If still not visible then the drain filter or drain pump is clogged and you’ll need to clean the drain filter and drain pump.

Please note that dishwashers don’t drain out the complete water such that heating element doesn’t overheat.

Please post back for any further assistance.

Daniel

I have kenwood dishwasher when it is finished opan door after 30 secands glass gos moutly nife and forks have like bits off rust on

Your dishwasher is not draining. You need to clean out the dishwasher and the drain thoroughly. Use bleach to disinfect it after you are done. Then make sure the drain flows freely and the garbage disposal is working if the dishwasher drain goes to the disposal.

Replaced disposal and now dishwasher isnt draining

It sounds like you've done everything fine. I would disconnect the dishwasher drain line from the disposal, have a bucket ready and see if it will drain. It's possible that there is a plug or something else left in the disposal opening that is blocking the water. If the dishwasher won't drain with the hose off of the disposal, there is a problem with the dishwasher that has nothing to do with your disposal installation. Hope this helps and good luck!

Water keeps coming back into dishwasher after cycle is done

Hi, If the drain hose is attached under the sink, make sure that the drain hose is looped higher then the outlet it is attached to.
Most model will hold a small amount of water after draining to keep the seals moist.
I hope this helps.
Please let me know if I can assist you further.

Thanks

Kitchenaid dishwasher

What are you draining into - an air gap to a disposal, air gap to drain, directly to disposal, or directly to drain? How long has this been happening, and have you done any plumbing work recently (new disposal?)
